Guess Who Was In Our Back Yard!
Stopped in at Five Oaks to find Two Row on the Grand setup and eating!
This is a 10 day paddle with the Haudenosaunee from Cambridge to Port Maitland on Lake Erie.
You can choose to paddle and camp for 10 days, 5 days, 4 days or 2 days... this event is once a year in mid July... and includes the opportunity to paddle to the Six Nations Powwow and camp there.
Two Row supplies all the campsites, food and Indigenous teachings as you travel the Grand River with them.
The purpose is to re-polish the chain of friendship between the Haudenosaunee Nation and the allies.
This yearly event is a one-of-a-kind learning experience in Canada.
Here is their website... http://www.tworowonthegrand.com/
Knock on their door next year!
