Final ladder from the AFL Atlantic regular season, no dramatic changes after Round 5.πŸͺœ

1️⃣ Dockers finish on top, completing an undefeated regular season for the second year in a row, securing their unquestionable ticket in the grand final. βš“
2️⃣ Devils clinch second, first year in the league after cleaving from the Dockers they showed they're here to stay. Punching their ticket to GF, they'll be looking to dethrone the champs. 😈
3️⃣ Bulldogs take third, investing in a young core they couldn't punch a grand final ticket but they're already eying 2027. They'll be barking up a storm at finals, looking to finish the season with one final treat. 🐢
4️⃣ Giants struggled with numbers all season but showed that when they came, they came to play. They'll be seeking a final W in the finals weekend to rally the troops for next year. 🫈
5️⃣ Tigers finding their groove as they continue to learn. Stronger every year but building out a drawer full of wooden spoons they'll be looking to grow over the off-season as they chase their illusive first W. 🐯

All roads lead to finals weekend, happening September 19 in Saint John, NB! NOT one to miss, these teams will be clashing once more to determine the final standings in 2026!

50ish mm of rain couldn't stop these teams from storming the field in PEI this past weekend. Cornwall is establishing a reputation of hosting epic footy in *unpredictable* weather. Here are the results from a soggy final round of the season:

Ladder update πŸͺœ
With one round left the ladder is almost set.

Round 4 saw the Bulldogs fall to third for the first time in their history, while the Devils climbed into a grand final spot. The Dockers clinched their grand final berth, but whether it's as first or second seed is still in question.

The Giants and the Tigers are now eliminated from a grand final berth, but pending the results from Saturday's Round 5 the Tigers could clinch a finals appearance as the Giants watch from their bye week.

Lots at stake as we round the final corner of the season and head into Round 5 in PEI this weekend!

High humidity and heavy air didn't slow these teams as they careen towards finals!

With a double W the Dockers clinched a berth in the 2026 grand final, undefeated on the season (to date). βš“

The Giants put on an impressive performance, unfortunately too few OG's meant a formal forfeit, but topped up by other players they put on an incredible performance all day.🫈

Mid-season slump got the better of the Doggies as they took a double L for the first time this season (ever?). 🐢

The Devils enjoyed the short commute across the bridge and looked relaxed all day, maybe too relaxed as they failed to clinch a W against a (bolstered) Giants side? 😈
