This year has donated 3 dozen 5MM Axis arrows for our event in August.

These are what we consider ‘the diesel engine of arrows’ that you can use for hunting as well as 3D. They’re popular, making them easy to find components for, but most of all, hard hitting and tough!

Get registered for The Southern Canadian Classic, brought to you by .canada, and you could be walking away with some fantastic Easton arrows this August, just in time for hunting season.

Attention tenters, expect showers at the SCC.

No, not rain showers, but the better kind.

After a long time having locations, logistics and ideas floated around, we have come up with a plan to provide showers for our tenters for the 2026 Southern Canadian Classic. Many thanks to landowner Greg for brainstorming with us and providing everything we need.

We hope this will help those who like to camp and who are without bathrooms, be a bit more comfortable during our weekend and have a better experience.

Great couple of days in the sunny south at the 4th leg of the ASA Pro/Am in London, Kentucky.

It was really nice to get back to Laurel County. They’ve done - and continue to do - tremendous work rebuilding after last year’s devastating tornado. The new pavilion is fantastic, with all the vendors, including our friends from , inside and out of the sun.

And we even ran into some SCC alumni!

If you attended, feel free to tell us how you did, what you thought of the course (apart from “dark” lol) and anything else you want to share.

And to anyone on the fence about attending a big…er…large…er massive tournament like this, just do it. It’s truly a lot of fun, it’s well organized and the experience and knowledge you gain is incredible.

Our very own Bruno Morin was just shy of making it to the shootdown in the Senior Known Pro division but that freed him up to be ‘Shade Engineer’ for our good friend Randy Morocco, who went home with 2nd place.

Congrats and safe travels to all the Canadians who made the trek, as well as our American friends who never stop making us feel welcome.

For those of you who have never heard of us or never attended, here’s a little run down of what we’re about:

- we host a 2 day, 3D outdoor tournament with cash and trophy classes in Harrow Ontario Canada every August with 20 targets a day with ASA scoring but with customized (and healthy) payouts

- shotgun start both days with shootdowns for specific classes on Sunday

- top finishers in cash classes get an extra sweet bonus courtesy of Shrewd Archery

- over the weekend, we hand out well over $20,000 in prizes from our fabulous partners including Easton Archery, Dryshod Canada, Kershaw Canada and others

- our novelty course, The Hateful 8 (like the movie, only perhaps a bit more brutal) is where you have a chance at something wicked from Bowtech

- let’s not forget The Average Joe, our signature feature where the average score in each cash class (with 10 or more competitors) walks away with the same earnings as second place (yup, with The SCC sometimes it pays to be average)

- on-site camping is available starting the Friday which means a great sense of community, less travel and maybe you can sleep in a little

- you can order lunch both days plus pre-register for a delicious broasted chicken dinner Saturday night followed by door prizes, co****le and general revelry

On the course we’re all business, as we take the sport seriously. But outside of that, we strive to bring you a relaxed, fun gathering with friends and family. Our aim is to make your trip to see us super memorable.

Our tournament is for everyone, from pros to beginners, adults to kids, from across the country to both sides of the border.

The Southern Canadian Classic happens August 15/16, 2026, brought to you by Vortex Canada!

Wishing you a happy and safe long weekend.

And WE are happy to welcome back Dryshod Canada as a partner to The SCC once again!

Seriously we cannot say enough about our Dryshods. Super durable, extremely comfortable and always our top choice for footwear. Whether for hunting, boating, farming, heavy work or just running around doing errands, there is basically a Dryshod boot for every time you step out the door.

And we’ve got 2 pairs to hand out so you can see for yourself how awesome they are.

So get registered for The Southern Canadian Classic and you could be walking away with some new boots from Dryshod Canada in August!

Once again we are thrilled to have Easton Archery back as one of our partners!

In addition to being the largest arrow manufacturer in the world, they’re also a source of components, stabilizers, quivers, bow cases and much more.

And you could be taking home some Easton arrows in August, but you gotta register for The Southern Canadian Classic first! (link in comments)
