An outdoor 2 day 3D archery event in the southernmost part of Ontario Canada (Essex County).

We strive to make it a weekend to remember - for competitors and their families!

Over The SCC weekend we handed over over 45 prizes to our competitors. That’s a lot of prizes…and overs.

Huge thanks again to some of our amazing partners including Bowtech INC., Easton Archery, Shrewd Archery, Feradyne Outdoors, and of course, how could you forget Vortex Canada (hint: you can’t).

We seriously love seeing so many smiling faces.

Don’t forget if you received a gift card, use it. And if you love what you won, tell people.

Hope you are all enjoying the long weekend!

Some more SCC 2026 shootdown pics thanks to Lesa Lake Ray.

Thanks very much for taking the entire weekend to prowl the courses and shootdowns, Lesa!

***please note: we have since noticed the quality of pics in this post has changed from the originals. We will update these in the future and try to rectify the issue with pics moving forward, thanks

Looks like The Hateful 8 claimed more victims than first thought.

These were all stuck in the log behind that nasty skunk. Speak up if it’s yours.

As stated previously we will be at Elmira Rod & Gun this Saturday if you can grab it (or send a friend).

Harrow’s Arrows

Recognize any of these?

Let us know. If you want them back, we will be at FDCC at Elmira Rod & Gun Club on August 29th and you can pick them up there (or get a friend to)

(the pink and white one actually looks circa 1843 but the other ones look fresh)

Congratulations to EVERYONE who achieved their goals, exceeded their own expectations, shot for the very first time and/or overcame a wide range of archery adversities this past weekend.

A big shout out to all our podium finishers in both our cash and trophy classes too!

In addition to payouts, all our cash classes received Shrewd money. This year we were happy to award the youth class this extra bonus from our friends at Shrewd Archery as well!

And let’s not forgot those Average Joes, our signature feature where the average score in a cash class with 10 or more people, go home with the same earnings as second place.

We apologize for our countdown timer not working and alas we forgot our cub intros. Like, what the heck 🤦🏻‍♀️

So how’s this instead…

🎤

“Ahem. Ladies and gentlemen after a gruelling shootdown featuring our youngest competitors, please give it up for our 5th place winner, making the trip from the Shelburne/Dundalk area, it’s Jaxson ‘Havoc’ Way!!

Our 4th place winner, bringing the whole family with her, put your hands together for Everly ‘Fury’ Babcock!!

Holding on to his previous nickname and no stranger to The SCC shootdowns…your 3rd place winner…it’s Lucas ‘Machine Gun’ Po***ck!!

Making a giant leap into 2nd place, hailing from the lovely farmlands south of Grand Bend, give it up for Will ‘The Reaper’ Ritchie!!

And he fought off everyone down the line to hang onto that coveted spot, from the London area, making his way to the podium in the top spot, it’s your 1st place finisher of the Cubs division, Josiah ‘The Slayer’ McKelvey!!”

😉

Congrats everyone!
