🏁 THREE WEEKS ON THE STRUGGLE BUS — BRIGHTON SPEEDWAY 🏁

Well… the last few weeks have definitely been keeping us humble. 😂 The #50 has had speed at times, but between missing the setup, Mother Nature, and occasionally the steering-wheel holder, we’ve been earning every damn spot.

AUGUST 1ST

Started 2nd in the heat and finished 5th. Definitely not the run we were looking for.

Rolled off 9th in the feature, and we spent most of the night fighting the setup. We kept digging, stayed after it and managed to bring it home 7th.

Not terrible — but definitely not where we want to be.

AUGUST 8TH 🌧️

Showed up. Unloaded. Ready to race.

Then Mother Nature decided she wanted the feature. 😂

We waited through the rain delay hoping we’d get the chance to hit the track, but eventually they had to pull the plug and call it a rainout.

AUGUST 15TH

Back aboard the struggle bus. 🚌💨

Started 3rd in the heat and managed to spin ourselves out in the FIRST CORNER, sending us straight to the back. 🤦‍♂️

Worked our way back to finish 6th, which had us rolling off 12th in the feature.

Once again, we missed the setup — and the driver wasn’t exactly bringing Kyle Larson talent to the table either. 😂

We started working our way forward and made it up to 8th, but couldn’t hang onto it and eventually fell back to finish 11th.

Definitely a frustrating stretch, but that’s racing.

Some nights you’re on rails and some nights you’re just trying to figure out which damn rail you’re supposed to be on. 😂

We’ll keep wrenching, keep learning and keep showing up. We’ve already seen what this #50 can do when we hit the setup, and we’re not done trying to find it again.

The struggle bus has to run out of fuel eventually. 😤🏁

Huge thanks to everyone who continues to help, support, wrench and stand behind this deal. We couldn’t do it without you.

🏁 MID-SEASON 800HP LATE MODEL OPEN — BRIGHTON SPEEDWAY 🏁

What a night for the BSR Performance #50!

We had some decent speed in hot laps, but got the right front into the track a little too hard and caused some damage. That meant it was time to thrash and get the car put back together for the heat race.

We rolled off 5th in the heat and finished 5th. The car felt good, so we made a few adjustments and got everything ready for the big 40-lap feature.

Starting 20th, we definitely had our work cut out for us.

Once the green dropped, though, the #50 was ON RAILS. Top, bottom — it didn’t matter. The car was working everywhere, and we were able to keep picking our way through traffic all feature long.

20th ➡️ 9th at the checkered flag!

Passing 11 cars and bringing it home 9th, with the car in one piece and working the best it has all year, makes for a pretty damn good night!

Huge thanks to everyone who helps keep this program going, especially everyone who helped thrash and get us back on track after hot laps. We’re continuing to learn, get faster, and make progress every time we hit the track.

The #50 is starting to come alive. 🏁

Three Race Nights. Plenty of Lessons. Lots of Progress. 💪🏁
We’ve gotten a little behind on the race recaps, so here’s a quick update on the last few weeks with the BSR Performance #50.

📍June 27 – Brighton SpeedwayWe had a decent night overall but have been fighting a frustrating stumble in the corners that has kept us from being where we know we can be. We started and finished the feature in 9th, but we left with plenty of notes and a better direction on what to work on.

📍July 3 – Ohsweken SpeedwayWe made the trip to Ohsweken and finally felt like we had the car headed in the right direction. The heat race went really well and gave us a lot of confidence heading into the feature. We rolled off 12th, but just three laps in we broke the driveshaft, ending our night before we had a chance to see what we really had.

📍July 11 – Brighton SpeedwayAfter thrashing all week to replace the driveshaft and continue chasing the corner stumble, we unloaded with one of our best cars yet. We started on the pole in the heat race and brought it home 2nd. In the feature we started 2nd and battled up front all night to finish 5th—our best Late Model finish so far!

We’re getting closer every week. The speed is coming, the confidence is building, and this team refuses to quit working until we get where we want to be.

A huge thank you to all of our sponsors, family, friends, and everyone who lends a hand in the shop and at the track. We couldn’t do it without your support.

Race Recap – Brighton Speedway

After thrashing all week to get the car repaired and race-ready, we finally got back to the track and had our best night of speed yet.

Hot laps went great, and we posted our best lap times to date, which gave us a lot of confidence heading into the night. We followed that up with a strong heat race, bringing the #50 home in 3rd place and showing some solid speed.

The feature wasn’t quite what we were hoping for. We rolled off 6th and crossed the line in 8th. The car actually felt really good all night and continues to improve every time we hit the track. Unfortunately, the biggest thing holding us back was the steering wheel holder.

We’ll keep learning, keep working, and keep getting better. The speed is there—now it’s time for the driver to catch up.

A huge thank you to all of our sponsors, crew, family, and everyone who helps make this possible. We’ll regroup this week and be ready to give it another shot next weekend.

Race Recap – Brighton Speedway

Last night wasn’t the night we were hoping for in the #50 Late Model, especially with it being our first night off rookie status.

We started 2nd in a very tough heat race and unfortunately missed the setup a bit. We fell back quickly but were able to stay on pace and bring it home in one piece, even though the speed just wasn’t where we needed it to be.

Starting dead last in the feature, the car came to life and we were having our best run of the season. We worked and had climbed up to 7th when disaster struck. Another car spun and collected us, sending the #50 hard into the wall and causing significant damage.

Despite the damage, we were able to keep the car moving and limp it home for a 10th-place finish.

Not the result we wanted, but there are plenty of positives to take away. We showed speed, and proved we can race our way forward through the field. Now it’s time to get back to the shop, thrash on the car, make the repairs, and come back stronger next week.

A huge thank you to all of our sponsors, crew, family, and fans for the continued support. We’ll get the #50 fixed up and be ready to battle again next Saturday.

Race Recap – Brighton Speedway 🏁

Second night out in the BSR & Performance #50 Late Model and we’re leaving with a lot to be proud of.

Hot laps went great right from the start, and we were able to confirm that the changes we’ve been making to the car are moving us in the right direction. The car felt comfortable and gave us confidence heading into the night.

Starting at the tail of the heat race as we’re still carrying rookie status, we put together a solid run. We started P6 and were able to gain a spot, bringing the car home in P5 and continuing to learn every lap.

For the feature, we lined up P11 and once again had our work cut out for us. The biggest win of the night was finding our overheating issues from last week have been fixed. We stayed out of trouble, avoided two separate wrecks, and kept the nose clean while continuing to gain valuable experience. When the checkered flag flew, we crossed the line in P9 with the car all in one piece.

Every time we hit the track we’re getting more comfortable, learning more about these Late Models, and building confidence behind the wheel. The results are starting to show, and we’re excited to keep improving.

A huge thank you to all of our sponsors, crew, family, and fans for the support. We’ll keep digging and getting better every week.

Not the ending we were hoping for last night, but we’re learning more every single lap with this new Late Model program.

Hot laps started off strong and the car felt good right away. Unfortunately on the last lap of hot laps we broke the yoke off the back of the transmission and had to thrash hard to even make the heat race. Huge thanks to everyone who jumped in with borrowed parts and helping hands to get us back on track.

Being a rookie in these cars and starting tail after the hot lap incident, the goal for the heat race was simple — stay on pace, learn, and bring it back in one piece. We were able to do exactly that and keep learning every lap.

Starting tail again in the feature, we were a little slow getting going but started making up ground and picking off cars as the race went on. Unfortunately after a caution, the car overheated during pace laps and ended our night early.

Not the results we wanted, but there’s still a lot of positives to take away. Every night we’re getting more comfortable, learning more about the car, and getting faster. We’ll regroup, fix the issues, and come back better next week.

Huge thank you to all of our sponsors, crew, family, and everyone helping us through the learning curve with this new program. The speed is coming. 👊🏁

A couple of shots from our 2026 season opener before the rain cut the night short at Brighton Speedway.

Even with the weather rolling in early, we learned a lot and showed some good speed right out of the gate with the BSR & Performance #50 Late Model. The new season is officially underway and we’re hungry for more laps.

Big thanks to our crew, sponsors, family, and everyone behind us this year — we couldn’t do it without you. We’ll regroup this week and come back ready to battle next race night.

Opening night at Brighton Speedway with the BSR & Performance #50 Late Model and the Northern Late Model Alliance is officially underway.

As a rookie moving up from the Modified division, there’s definitely a lot to learn with these Late Models. After finally getting some laps in during hot laps, it didn’t take long to realize just how different these cars are compared to a Mod — but right away the car felt really good and we started getting more comfortable every lap.

Starting scratch in the heat race, we only managed to get a couple laps under green before the rain moved in and shut the night down. Even with the limited track time, we were able to stay on pace with the field and learn a lot in a short amount of time.

With the rain cutting the night short, the full race program has now been pushed to next Saturday — so we’ll run it back again next weekend.

Big thanks to all our sponsors, crew, family, and fans for the support. We’re excited to keep learning and improving every time we hit the track.
