Just watched Bryson’s video about Banff Springs. His pure awe of the beauty reminds me just how lucky we are to have this place in our backyard.

Had a great time at the CPKC Women's Open Media Day at Royal Mayfair Golf Club yesterday!

Our post-press conference golf group consisted of Mark Connolly retired CBC host and commentator, Jordan Jeske of PROJCT Golf Experience PROJCT Athletics and Alberta Golf Board member and Highlands Golf Club member Brian Laubman.

Mark had his best round of the season, Brian shot a casual 66, and vibes were high the whole time. Thanks Golf Canada for having us!

Happy International Women’s Day!

Since graduating from university, I’ve always found it a little hard to make new female friends.

I was the sporty one growing up, the only girl I knew who loved golf, and I got very comfortable being one of the guys. At one point I tried joining a ladies league but… let’s just say many of us probably have a catty story about how that went. Hard pass.

Making new friends in mid-life isn’t easy. But in the past couple of years something really cool has happened.

I’ve started meeting more and more women through this page, and through golf. Many of you started out as followers and have turned into genuine friendships, the kind where we actually tee it up together and laugh our way through a round.

I still love golfing with the guys, but I feel so much gratitude for the incredible women this game keeps bringing into my life.

And if you’re in Alberta and want to play this season, message me. Seriously.

Happy International Women’s Day, you absolute badasses.
