In our profession, we have the delightful job of trying to bring joy to our elders lives. The other side of our job Is the often heartbreaking job of dealing with end of life. Over the years I have come up with a way of dealing with this sadness... I do one thing that the person loved to do in life . I have done many different things over the course of my job, and today I made traditional Ukrainian pierogies in memory of a lovely client who passed away earlier this year. Cooking was an important part of her life and we talked a lot about traditional recipes. I think she would be proud, although I can hear her saying the dough was a bit tough haha. Cheers Irene 💕
