A new chapter begins for Samuel Amissah.

Samuel was part of the Fulham FC U21 squad that travelled to Kamloops for the 2024 Kamloops International Cup, taking on elite international competition on the Hillside Stadium stage.

Now, the English midfielder is making the move into professional football, signing with Estoril Praia in Portugal. 🇵🇹

It is another exciting step for a player who was on the KIC pitch just two years ago and is now beginning his professional career in Europe.

We are proud to see another KIC participant taking the next step in his football journey.

The Kamloops International Cup is proud to congratulate KIC alumna Aurora Hughes-Goyette, who has taken the next step in her football journey, signing with Maccabi Tel Aviv Women’s Football Team in Israel! 🇮🇱

Aurora was part of our BCPL Select Team at the 2025 Kamloops International Cup, representing some of the top emerging talent from across British Columbia and helping the Selects to a memorable 7–1 victory over Arsenal FC Women U21 at Hillside Stadium.

Now, her journey continues on the international stage.

This is exactly what the Kamloops International Cup is about — bringing talented Canadian players together, providing opportunities to test themselves against elite international opposition, and creating a stage where the next generation can showcase where their game can take them.
