Okanagan Pride Curling League

The winter season is almost upon us, and we will be hosting our FREE Open House Saturday, January 10th. We welcome curlers of all skill levels to join us from 3-5pm for ice time, skill building, and socializing.

Join us for one of two 1-hour Learn2Curl sessions starting at 1pm or 2:30pm. Then, come upstairs to the lounge for a social mixer. This is a great opportunity for beginners to learn the basics and see if OPCL is a good fit for you with no commitment!

Curling equipment will be available for use free of charge. There will also be an opportunity to register for our league on the spot!

A few days late but we all needed some time to recover from that fantastic Olympics-themed fall wrap-up! 🥳

Congratulations to our funspiel winners, Team Red, and to Jim who won Best Costume! A special thank you to for helping to crown our winners and joining us for karaoke 🍌, Laverne for bringing homemade treats to share, and for everyone’s patience in attempting our Olympic rings group photo.

A big heartfelt thank you from Cate, Sandy, and Amber for everyone who has continued to show up, bring friends, and join us on the ice year after year ❤️ This season had our largest number of curlers yet, and we truly couldn’t do it without all of you.

🌊 Thank you Warren, for making waves! 🙌

Warren has curled at the Kelowna Curling Club for 3 years and is an active member of the Okanagan Pride Curling League. Warren volunteered for the Event Services Team for the 2025 Montana’s Brier, and earned his certification as an official at this year’s BC Mixed Championship in Oliver.

But Warren's community spirit extends far beyond the ice! He volunteered with Restore in Vancouver before moving to Kelowna in 2019, and continues to give his time to the Kelowna Food Bank and the Great Shoreline Clean Up.

What does giving his time mean to Warren? "Volunteering my time allows organizations to focus on giving back to the community. Knowing I made a difference in someone's life gives me great pride in knowing my community is worth it!"
