Week 2 and the momentum is building!
Athena is already showing what this season is all about — strong women, supportive energy, and confidence growing with every ride. From smooth group riding to plenty of laughs, it’s been great to see everyone settling in and finding their rhythm.
And we’re just getting started 💫
May is bringing more opportunities to grow. We’re adding our Wednesday hill climb sessions — a chance to challenge yourself, build strength, and gain confidence on the bike. Whether you’re new to climbing or ready to push a bit further, there’s a place for you here.

Season opener = DONE 💥
What a way to kick things off with our Athena crew — strong legs, big smiles, and some seriously spicy wind out there 🌬️
Nothing like that first ride energy… a few nerves, lots of laughs, and a whole lot of support rolling through every group. This is exactly what it’s all about.
Huge shoutout to our Volant riders as well who battled the same conditions and brought the good vibes all the way home.
And of course… we wrapped it up the only way we know how — hot chocolate, cookies, and great company.
If this is how the season starts, we’re in for something pretty special.

Registration for the 2026 Fresh Air Cycling Season is now open.
A new season brings new goals, new kilometres, and the chance to ride alongside an incredible community. From early morning efforts to Monday night group rides, the Fresh Air Athena and Volant programs are built around strong riding, supportive leadership, and a shared passion for the sport.
Whether you’re returning for another season or joining us for the first time, 2026 promises a summer of meaningful miles, skill development, and unforgettable moments on the bike.
The season includes:
• Weekly group rides with experienced ride leaders
• Structured A / B / C groups
• Skills development and progression
• Exclusive Fresh Air member perks

WHAT’S A GROUP WORKOUT VS. GROUP RIDE?
• Group Workout (Weds 6:00am): everyone follows the same interval plan — Zwift keeps the group together so all levels can train side-by-side.
• Group Ride (Fri 6:00am): steady social pace, chat on Companion, no intervals — just miles together.
! All our rides are “rubber-banded,” meaning everyone stays visually together on screen no matter your wattage output — so no one gets dropped!
This week’s focus: Weds 6:00am Group Workout (40–45 min). Start your day strong.
