Taste of the Okanagan is looking for a Seasonal Kitchen Production Assistant to join our team during our busy harvest season.
Part-time | 2-3 days per week
Primarily Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays
Kelowna, BC
What you'll be doing:
• Washing and preparing fresh produce
• Following recipes and assisting with production
• Filling, labeling, and packing jars
• Organizing inventory
• Cleaning equipment and work areas
• Helping keep our kitchen running smoothly
This is a physical job. You'll be on your feet most of the day and regularly lifting boxes of produce and finished products. Some days are repetitive, some are fast-paced, and there is always cleaning involved.
We're looking for someone who:
✔ Is reliable and shows up on time
✔ Pays attention to detail
✔ Works well independently and as part of a small team
✔ Isn't afraid of hard work
✔ Takes pride in doing things properly
Experience in food production, commercial kitchens, farming, landscaping, warehousing, or other physically active work is an asset.
FoodSafe is an asset, but not required.
This role is ideal for someone looking for steady part-time work through the summer and fall harvest season. We're hoping to find someone who can grow with us through our busiest months, and offer a season completion bonus for those who do.

Running a business with your mom is kinda wild because one minute you’re discussing inventory and the next minute you’re being told you need more iron and should probably bring a jacket.
But honestly, Taste of the Okanagan wouldn’t be what it is without my mom. She’s the hardest working person I know, the heart behind every jar, and the reason everything we make feels homemade in the best possible way. She taught me that feeding people isn’t just food, it’s love.
