🎓✨ Grad Spotlight 2026 ✨🎓
To celebrate our graduating dancers, we’ve asked each of them to answer a few questions about their time at KDX. From favourite memories and words of wisdom to future dreams and plans, we can’t wait for you to get to know the incredible people behind the dancer.
We are so proud of each of our graduates and all they have accomplished during their time with us. Their hard work, dedication, leadership, and love for dance have helped shape our KDX family, and we know they have bright futures ahead.
Next up is Kaity Teindl❤️

What is your favourite memory from your time at KDX?
My favourite memory from KDX is all the time spent backstage and in the dressing rooms with my teammates before performances. Some of my best friendships and funniest memories were made during those moments, and they made every competition and recital even more special.
—
What is one piece of advice you would give to younger dancers?
Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s. Focus on improving a little every day, work hard, and lead by example. Be kind, supportive, and encouraging to those around you because great dancers aren’t just strong performers, they’re great teammates and leaders as well. The friendships, lessons, and memories you make along the way are just as important as the achievements.

What are your plans or dreams for the future after graduation?
After graduation, I plan to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. From there, I hope to continue my education in either post-degree nursing or sports therapy. My goal is to build a career helping others while staying connected to my passion for health, movement, and athletics. I also hope to travel, experience new places and cultures, and continue making memories along the way.

Congratulations, Kaity! Your KDX family is so proud of you and can’t wait to see what comes next. ❤️

What is your favourite memory from your time at KDX?
My favourite memories from my time at KDX aren’t just one specific moment. They’re all the little moments that made the years so special. From competitions and backstage laughs to long rehearsals and watching everyone grow together, KDX became so much more than just a dance studio. It became a second home, and I’m so grateful for the friendships, opportunities, and memories that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.

What is one piece of advice you would give to younger dancers?
If I could give one piece of advice to younger dancers, it would be to never compare yourself to anyone else. Everyone grows at their own pace, and your hard work, passion, and love for dance are what truly matter. Enjoy every class, every performance, and every competition because the years go by much faster than you think.

What are your plans or dreams for the future after graduation?
After graduation, I’m excited to spend five weeks in Madrid, Spain, studying Spanish and experiencing a new culture. After that, I plan to continue my education in healthcare with the goal of one day becoming a plastic surgeon. While dance will always hold a special place in my heart, I’m excited to see where this next chapter of life takes me and to continue chasing my dreams with the same dedication that KDX taught me.
