One in seven young Canadians have reported having suicidal thoughts at some point in their life, according to newly released data from Statistics Canada.

Mental health is seriously underfunded in many parts of the world. In Canada alone, mental illnesses contributes to 10% of the disease burden and yet only receives 7% of the funding. US citizens actually spend more money buying Halloween costumes for their pets than the amount that developing countries spend on mental health (coming out of financial assistance funds).
