We’re calling on every team, player, fan, friend, and family member to come out and bring the energy. Whether you’re part of the league or checking us out for the first time, we’d love to see you there!

PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: ADAM PARDY

The Bonavista, Newfoundland native represented Team Canada at the 2004 World Ball Hockey Championships and built an impressive ball hockey resume, earning MVP Defenceman honours at the 2003 Junior Nationals and again at the 2010 Men’s A Canadian Nationals.

He would go on to play more than 300 NHL games, suiting up for the Calgary Flames, Dallas Stars, Buffalo Sabres, Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers during his professional career.

From representing Canada on the ball hockey floor to more than 300 games in the NHL. 🇨🇦

PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: KEITH YANDLE!!! Keith Yandle

Yandle played more than 1,100 NHL games with the Arizona Coyotes, New York Rangers, Florida Panthers and Philadelphia Flyers. He became known across the hockey world for his remarkable ironman streak of 989 consecutive NHL games played and creating the iconic “SONK”.

Since retiring from the NHL, Yandle has remained heavily involved in the hockey community, including his connection to Spittin’ Chiclets and serving as manager of the Boston Stranglers at the Chiclets Cup ball hockey tournament.

From more than 1,100 NHL games to supporting the growth of ball hockey. 🇺🇸

5 days until the TNBHL season.

PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: MARK GIORDANO

The Toronto, Ontario native built one of the most impressive careers of any undrafted player in NHL history, playing more than 1,100 games over 18 seasons.

Giordano spent the majority of his career with the Calgary Flames, serving as team captain and winning the Norris Trophy as the NHL’s top defenceman in 2019. He also suited up for the Seattle Kraken and Toronto Maple Leafs during his NHL career.

Before reaching the NHL, Giordano’s hockey journey included time in the ball hockey community with Downsview Minor and the Downsview Bulls, where he became a Metro Cup Champion.

From the ball hockey floor to NHL captain and Norris Trophy winner. 🇨🇦

SOME SIGHTS & SOUNDS FROM THE FIRST EVER TRUE NORTH EXHIBITION GAMES 🎥🏒

A successful first night on the floor for True North.

Last night’s referee clinic and exhibition games gave us our first opportunity to put everything into action, test our game day operations, and work through the final details as we continue preparing for Opening Night.

Game 1 saw a mix of Cowboys and Longhorns players take on Scoops, followed by the Magicians vs. Spartan Kings in Game 2.

Plenty learned and plenty to build on. A great first step as we work out the final kinks before the games count.

The floor is ready. The teams are ready. Opening Night is next.
