We’re in Edmonton this weekend for the 2026 Poppy Invitational, hosted by the Silver Rays Swim Club!

Wishing all our swimmers the best of luck as they hit the water! We hope everyone has a fantastic weekend filled with great swims, personal bests, team spirit, and lots of fun!

🏊‍♂️ What a great evening at the pool! 🏊‍♀️

A big thank you to all our swim families who joined us for tonight’s mock swim meet! We’d also like to thank our amazing coaches and volunteers for all their hard work in making the evening such a fun and successful experience for our swimmers.

A special thank you to our visiting swim team for making the trip to join us! We loved having you at our pool!

Tonight was a wonderful opportunity for our swimmers to gain some meet experience, build confidence, and get ready for their first competitions of the season.

We’re looking forward to a fantastic season ahead! 💙🌊

🏊‍♂️ Riptides Represented at Swim Alberta Provincial Camp! 🌊

The Lloydminster Riptides Swim Club is proud to recognize Mathew Dobson, who was selected to attend Swim Alberta’s 2026–2027 Provincial Watchlist Training Camp in Calgary on October 8–9!

This camp brought together some of Alberta’s top swimmers and coaches for two days of development, both in and out of the water, focusing on building skills and supporting the next generation of provincial-level athletes.

Being named to Swim Alberta’s Provincial Watchlist is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of Mathew’s hard work and dedication to the sport.

🏊 We’re back in the pool! 🏊

Last night marked our first day in the pool for the 2026–27 season!

It was great to see so many familiar faces back on deck and to welcome our new swimmers and families to the Riptides. We’re excited to have everyone together as we kick off a new season of swimming, learning, hard work and fun.

What a great way to kick off another season with the Lloydminster Riptides!

A huge thank you to L & L Oilfield Services for supporting our club and generously lending us their BBQ for our Back to Swim Welcome BBQ. We truly appreciate the support of local businesses that help make events like this possible.

We’re also so grateful for our amazing Riptides community — our families, swimmers, coaches and board members who came together to make the evening such a success.

Our bottle drive on Saturday was a success, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of our Riptides families, swimmers, and community! ❤️💛🖤

A huge thank you to all of our swimmers and families who came out, worked hard, went door-to-door, collected bottles, and helped make the day run smoothly. We appreciate every one of you for giving your time and energy to support our club!

And to our amazing community — thank you! Every bag of cans and bottles donated makes a difference and helps support our swimmers and the Lloydminster Riptides Swim Club. We are so grateful for the continued support you show our athletes and our program.

♻️ BOTTLE DRIVE THIS SATURDAY! 🏊‍♂️

The Lloydminster Riptides Swim Club is hitting the streets this Saturday, September 12, and we’d love your support!

Our swimmers will be going door to door collecting refundable bottles and cans to help raise funds for the upcoming season. If you have any bottles or cans you’d like to donate, we’d be happy to pick them up!
