Hi! I am Roxy and I am 8 years old. I am a Shih Poo girl who is looking for a new family to love me. I am a smaller gal only about 15lbs. I am quiet and sweet. I enjoy hanging out and snuggling but also like to go on walks and explore new things in the neighborhood. I am friendly and would make a great companion for pretty much anyone. I do have a small cherry eye in my right eye but it is not something that needs surgical intervention right now as it is not bothering me. I would make a great companion for a senior who is looking for a lap dog and will take me on small walkies a couple times a day.

I am good with other dogs and would be fine sharing my home with another smaller dog my size who likes to just hang out. I am fine to be an only dog too as I had been an only dog prior to coming to my foster home. I am fine with kitties and have lived with some of those in my previous home too. I would be fine with older more gentle kids who are going to be nice to me and give me lots of gentle pets and cuddles.

My foster mom says I do not even need a crate but she has made sure I know how to use one incase there is ever a need for me to be in one. I am house trained as long as you make sure to put me on a schedule and take me outside of course. I like walks and am a pretty good girl for them. I also like to go on car rides and think they are fun as we are usually at a pet store getting treats when we go on them.

An adoption fee applies for me of $500. I have been spayed, I have been vaccinated with my age appropriate vaccinations, been dewormed, been given flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and will come with 30 days of free pet insurance as well as my health certificate.
