Aquatic Confidence

Today is National Lifeguard Day! Always show appreciation to your aquatic leadership/management staff for their long hours spent in the heat to keep your loved ones safe. You never know when they will have to save you or someone you love. There is a lot more that goes into lifeguarding than what you see at the pools or beaches. I’m so happy to be a lifeguard and to offer this protection to my patrons.

The face behind Aquatic Confidence is Emma Stevens. Hi everyone! I’m a lifeguard with over 4 years of experience, 2 as head lifeguard, a certified pool operator, and swim instructor. I have taught lessons here and there over the years but this past year I have had a change of heart and want to dive right into aquatics and have many more certifications. I will be a certified swim instructor end of July, certified Standard First Aid Instructor end of September, Lifesaving Instructor late fall, National Lifeguard Instructor early December, and Examiner all by the end of 2022.

First guest speaker experience at the “Make Waves” Forest City Community Church here in London with 200 campers and 100 volunteers to chat about water, beach, and sun safety + how to and why become a lifeguard. I would love to keep educating kiddos out of the water like this!

The ball is rolling - certifications start this month - business cards are being printed - and Aquatic Confidence is being introduced!
