This year, I feel… full. In a way that’s a little messy, a little bittersweet, but deeply meaningful.

Life doesn’t look like I once imagined. There have been stretches that asked more of me than I thought I could give. Moments that reshaped me. Seasons that felt like both breaking and becoming.

And yet… here I am.

Married for 19 years to someone who’s walked with me through every version of myself. Kids who are growing faster than my heart can keep up with…one already stepping out into the world at 17, teaching me what it means to hold on and let go at the same time.

A career that fills me in a different way now, one where I get to use my skills, my creativity, and my voice to make a difference in my community. That part doesn’t feel small.

A home that still stops me sometimes… because it once felt like a distant dream, and now it’s where our life unfolds every day.

It’s busy. It’s loud. It’s full. And somehow, it’s exactly mine.

I’m learning to loosen my grip. To embrace the changing seasons instead of resisting them. To find gratitude in the now, even when it’s shifting beneath my feet.

Friends camping …the kind of trip where the days blend together in the best possible way.

Beach by day, firepit by night.

Floats on the lake, snacks on repeat, and kids running wild like it’s their job.

Happy 42nd Birthday to my person, my husband, and the one who makes every day better just by being in it.

I remember when we first met, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. You were funny, charming, and so confident – a whirlwind of energy. Fast forward all these years, and you’re still all of that and more. You’ve taught me to love deeper, laugh harder, and embrace life’s little moments with open arms.

Watching you become the man you are today – a devoted husband, an amazing father, and my sidekick. You have this incredible way of making everyone feel loved and important. It’s no surprise that every time we’re with friends or family, you’re the one everyone turns to connect with.

Thank you for being there, my adventure partner, and the one I get to grow old with.

Happy birthday. Here’s to more years of laughter, love, and countless memories ahead. I wouldn’t want to go through life with anyone else by my side.

✨This year, my word is EXPAND. ✨

In 2025, I’m focused on expanding every area of my life. I want to push myself into new experiences and challenge my limits. Whether it’s stepping out of my comfort zone in my personal growth, taking bold steps to grow my business, or deepening the relationships that matter most—I’m ready to expand.

I also want to expand who I am. That means developing new skills, becoming more of the person I aspire to be, and embracing all of the potential I know is inside me. I’m also focused on expanding my family life, finding new ways to expand our family connections and create lasting memories. Thinking bigger than ever!

The word EXPAND generally means to increase in size, number, or importance; to grow or develop more fully. It can also mean to make something larger or more comprehensive, or to extend in scope. Definitions of expand…

Choosing to EXPAND as my word of the year means broadening the areas of my life where I seek growth—whether it’s in business, personal development, relationships, or any other aspect…
