So we sold out of the two runs of shirts we did, but I know not everyone who wanted one got one. Now you can get a slightly altered design (they don’t allow 2 sided printing) on pretty much any garment you want, in any colour! Plus tote bags and stickers.

Thank you for the continued support.

Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. A day for all of us to recognize and reflect on the intergenerational harm that colonization and residential schools have caused Indigenous families and communities.
Today we honour those that have been affected by this injustice. When we're riding mountain bikes, gravel rides, or bike packing, we don't often think - who's land? What we call London is traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, the Haudenosaunee and the Lenaapeewak, at the forks of Deshkan Ziibi or Antler River, an area subject to the Dish with One Spoon Wampum and other treaties.

Support indigenous communities, business, artists, friends.

We’re back! Coffee outside returns this Saturday, August 13th. Meet at Ivey park at 8:30, enjoy a brew with some company and then start your day. Where should next weeks meet up spot be?

First coffee outside was a success! Thanks y’all for coming out. We gotta skip next week but then we’ll be back!

It’s happening! London’s first (I think?) coffee outside will be Saturday July 30th at Ivey Park! The premise is simple, ride yer bike to the predetermined spot, bring coffee gear, brew a cup (or just bring some), and then relax and enjoy the company. Bikes and coffee go hand in hand, so this is a lil twist to the conventional coffee ride. Very much looking forward to seeing you there. Map to the spot on page 2 for anyone unsure about the location of Ivey.

What up world? As I'm sure you've noticed, OW hasn't done any rides this summer. As I mentioned in previous posts - Incorporating in order to be insured, registering as a not-for-profit, introducing member fees - these were some of my options to keep the orange wheel rollin'. Insurance isn't cheap and some are a pretty lengthy process. The whole point of OW was to be free and accessible to anyone with a bike. If I can't make it free and simple, it simply won't exist. I'm not going to put the cost of running this club on you. There are lots of membership-based clubs already (and there's nothing wrong with that) but this isn't one of them.

Thankfully, I think we started something last summer that will continue even without the weekly OW rides. I see ya'll riding together, with people you met on these rides. I see you going further and riding harder. PLUS, my buds at Grem's took the Thursday night torch, so we still get to enjoy that (myself included).

While organising rides is a pretty decent-sized liability risk, I think there are still ways this page can contribute to the growth and strengthening of the cycling community here in London. OW ain't dead yet.

Life is busy but keep an eye on this page. I still have some cool stuff in the works. See ya'll soon ❤️

More all-stars out of towners, more Thursday night romps, more slow rolls, more fun for summer 2022. To make sure these rides can continue we have to go legit and unfortunately there are costs and time delays associate with that. (absurd you have to deal with these things just to have fun and ride bikes BUT) more info coming on that soon and ways you may be able to help! Very much looking forward to cruising with everyone again!
