Hey everyone 👋,

As someone who's juggling a lot—running my own business, raising three incredible but exhausting kiddos, and trying to stay fit and healthy—I know firsthand that the term 'Work-Life Balance' often feels more like a mythical unicorn than an achievable reality. 🦄

Some days, it's like I'm walking a tightrope 🎪. I'm trying to run a business and answer emails while planning who's taking which kid to what event and cooking dinners that are not just kid-friendly but also macro-friendly. Yes, I'm that woman who measures her food, not because I'm obsessive, but because it gives me some semblance of control in this whirlwind life, all while feeling and performing my best. 🌪️

And let's not even talk about my 5 day-a-week workout routine. It's my therapy but also another item on a never-ending to-do list. Every sweat session is like a hard-earned victory amidst client sessions and bedtime stories.

Ladies, I get you. I get the guilt that tugs at you when you're working late and missing another bedtime story. I get the mental exhaustion that comes from toggling between business plans and parenting plans. And I get the drive—the insatiable hunger—to be MORE and do MORE because we are built to never settle.

So, how do we do it all? The secret is—spoiler alert—we can't. 🙆🏼‍♀️ But what we can do is prioritize. Some days my kids come first, some days my business takes the lead, and some magical days, I even get an hour to myself. 🧘🏼‍♀️

Remember, you're not alone. The struggle is real, but so is the strength within us. We may not always get it right, but we never stop trying.

To all my hustling moms, the CEOs of their homes, and their businesses, let's keep supporting each other. Because if there's one thing stronger than our to-do lists, it's us.

Sending love and light your way. 💖✨

🌟 Hey there, incredible women who are pushing through every single day 🌟

Let's talk about the highs and lows of our fitness journeys, because trust me, I've been there. When I first signed up for Hyrox, I was all in—so excited and ready to conquer the world. Fast forward to 30 days later, and the spark was gone. Sound familiar?

🏋️‍♀️ I've trained for Duathlons, CrossFit competitions, Sweat Games—you name it. And let me tell you, it's totally NORMAL to hit a slump. Right now, I'm on day 65 of my Hyrox training, clocking in roughly 2-hour sessions. And I get it—that's not realistic for most of us, myself included.

It's hard. It's a grind. And there are days when all I want to do is throw in the towel. But you know what? I push through. I get up, lace those shoes, and give it my all—even when "my all" isn't picture perfect.

🌸 So, if you're feeling down about your fitness and nutrition routine, remember: YOU are not alone. It's okay to struggle; what matters is that you haven't given up. Give yourself the recognition you so deeply deserve. You are stronger than any obstacle in your way. 🌸

Keep pushing, ladies. You've got this. 💪

Wow, what an incredible weekend we've just had! Our athletes competed in the Festivus Games this past Saturday, and I couldn't be prouder.

These aren't just team members; they're family. The hard work, perseverance, and camaraderie they displayed were nothing short of inspiring.

To our athletes: Thank you for giving it your all. You've made us incredibly proud, not just by your performance but by the incredible spirit you've shown.

Here's to many more achievements together! 🏆

Thank you to everyone who made this event so special. Let's keep the momentum going! 💪

Life can get pretty hectic, but one thing I always make sure of is having convenient meals ready to go!

🍲 My favorite?

A hearty chili packed with protein and fiber. Not only is it delicious, but it's also freezable! This ensures that even on my busiest days, there's always a tasty backup meal waiting for me in the freezer. Because why compromise on health and flavor when you can have both? 💪🍴

Seasoning food with spices makes healthier foods more desirable.

In a study published in the Journal of Food Science, University of Colorado researchers reported that people enjoyed a low-sugar apple crisp with cinnamon just as much as a high-sugar option without the flavor boost of cinnamon.

Another study published in the Food Quality and Preference journal reported that high school students preferred vegetables from the cafeteria that had seasonings such as dill and coriander on them versus plain ones.

Here is a quick recipe to try

Squash and Zucchini Fries

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Combine ⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese, ½ tsp dried thyme, ½ tsp dried oregano, ¼ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp kosher salt (or sea salt), ¼ tsp ground black pepper in a bowl.

Toss 2 zucchinis, cut into spears and 2 yellow squash, cut into spears, in a bowl with about 1 tbsp of olive oil to coat evenly.

Add the parmesan-spice mixture to the bowl and mix.

Drizzle baking sheet with about 1 tbsp of olive oil and place the zucchini and squash spears on it.

Bake until tender, about 15-18 minutes.

Do you have a favorite or unique spice you use often in the kitchen?

Sometimes, simplicity is the key to satisfaction. 🍽️ Tonight's dinner was a testament to that. Whipped up in just 20 minutes, it's proof that delicious doesn't always mean elaborate.

If you think lifting weights is dangerous, try being weak. Being weak is dangerous.

Ever found yourself in a kitchen predicament? 🤔 Last week, I had a meal all planned out, but life had other ideas when we ended up having guests. We opted for an alternative meal, and the original dinner got pushed back.

Fast forward to tonight. I was all set to make that postponed meal, but unfortunately the salad had spoiled. 🥬😞 Thankfully, my pantry is stocked with backup salad bags. Even though the mix didn't pair perfectly with the meal, it saved the day! 🙌

This experience is a great reminder of why it's crucial to have kitchen staples at the ready. You never know when you'll need a last-minute substitute or when plans will change. So, stock up on those versatile ingredients, whether it's canned goods, frozen veggies, or extra salad bags. Your future self will thank you! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Redefining Fitness Success for Women 💪🌸

Historically, women have been under immense pressure to fit into societal molds when it comes to body image. We've been told that success is measured by the number on a scale or the size label inside our clothes. But it's 2023, and it's time to shatter those outdated molds.

True success in fitness for women should be holistic. It's about giving ourselves grace, especially on the days when energy is low. It's about being consistent and honoring the promises we make to ourselves, even when life throws curveballs. It's about feeling empowered in our workouts, whether that's lifting weights, yoga, or taking a mindful walk.

More importantly, it's about navigating our nutrition in an informed way, without guilt or restriction. It's about fostering a healthy and appreciative relationship with food, understanding that it's both nourishment and celebration.

Ladies, let's celebrate feeling stronger, understanding our body's feedback, and cherishing every milestone, no matter how small. Our journey is unique, and every step is a testament to our strength, resilience, and dedication. Remember, our worth is not defined by numbers; it's defined by our journey, our spirit, and our passion for self-love and well-being.
