Archery - beginner instructions

Busy times. Added Monday’s at 5:00 at the indoor range.

Great alternative for recreation and fitness for all ages.

The following is my Lesson information.

I have been trained through the Ontario Archers Association to instruct/coach beginner Archery.
I teach private lessons for the duration of 1 hour. My experience has shown that when beginning Archery 1 hour is the most suitable duration both mentally and physically.
It take the average adult 2 lessons to get a good foundation of technique.
Youth often require more time and involvement.
Youth lessons will require a legal guardian on site for the duration of the lesson.

In the event of a cancellation of less than 24 hours notice there will be a $10 dollar fee.
I prefer email communication in order to maintain a manageable written record.
Lesson dates and times need to be arranged directly with me at both locations.

Payment:
I accept cash or e-transfer the day of the lesson.
The range fee is paid in the shop. They will accept the typical retail payment methods.
If you require the use of my equipment please inform me prior to the lesson.

Location 1
The Archers Nook (indoor range)
The current protocol will allow for me to instruct 2 people at a time if you are able to present proof of vaccine. Please let me know if you are willing and/or able to do so.
It will be necessary to show it to the staff member in the shop that will look after your range fee.
Masks are currently required within the shop and range.

If you are feeling unwell please notify me and do not attend.
At this time the store requires a mask be worn and therefore it will be required for the lesson (this includes attending legal guardians).

There is hand sanitizer available in the shop and in the range.
I will be sanitizing all the equipment used between lessons.

The usual COVID-19 questionnaire will be done at the beginning of each lesson.

My Rate is:
$30.00 for 1 person for the hour
$50.00 for 2 people for the hour.

Range Fees:
It is the responsibility of the student to pay for the range time directly with the Archers Nook prior to the lesson. The shop can get busy so allow extra time to pay your range fee.
Their fees are: Per person
$10.00 + tax for 1 hour
$27.00 + tax for a 3 hour card
$60.00 + tax for a month pass.

Teaching Dates and Times:
Tuesday 5:00 and 6:00 pm
Friday 5:00 and 6:00 pm

Please Note:
As an Instructor i am not part of the Archers Nook Staff
Lesson Dates and times need to be arranged with me.
I will book the range once we have an arrangement. It would be helpful though to call the Archers Nook and let them know of your lesson date and time with them as well.


If you need to reach me in less than the 24 hours please call the Archers Nook and they will pass the message on.

$30 for 1 person
$50 for 2 people

There is a student range fee of $10.00 per person to be collected by myself and forwarded to Forest City Archers.
The club has agreed to apply the fee to a membership with the club.
Masks and proof of vaccine not required.
