🚨 Update – Final Weekend Hours

A quick change to this weekend’s schedule at Sharon Creek:

🛶 Saturday, Sept. 27 – Open 12 PM – 4 PM (no morning volunteer available)
🛶 Sunday, Sept. 28 – Open 10 AM – 1 PM (closing early for end-of-season pack-up)

📢 We’re still looking for someone with a vehicle to tow the boat trailer on Sunday afternoon. If you’re able to help, please reach out!

After 1 PM Sunday, we’ll be moving equipment back to London—extra hands to help load the trailers are always appreciated.

It’s hard to believe, but this is our last weekend at Sharon Creek for the 2025 season!

Here’s what you need to know:
🛶 Saturday, Sept. 27 – Open 10 AM – 4 PM
👉 We still need a volunteer for the 10 AM – 1 PM shift.

🛶 Sunday, Sept. 28 – Open 10 AM – 1 PM (note the early closing time)
👉 After 1 PM, we’ll be moving equipment back to London. Volunteers are welcome to join us and help load equipment onto the trailers.
👉 We’re also looking for someone with a vehicle able to tow the boat trailer Sunday afternoon.

Reminder: Bonus Hours this Friday, Aug. 29 — 4:30–7:30 PM at Sharon Creek.
Head to the dock to get Colin (ORCKA coach) for free Level 4 paddling instruction or to gain access to the boats for recreational paddling.

The rain in today’s forecast means we’re shifting our bonus paddling hours to Friday, Aug. 29 | 4:30 – 7:30 PM at Sharon Creek. Fingers crossed for clear skies! 🌅

We’re still looking for a volunteer to cover a shift this Saturday at Sharon Creek:

Ideally 10 AM – 1 PM, but there’s some flexibility to swap for the afternoon shift if that works better.

Good news, paddlers! The forecast is looking great for Thursday evening so we’re adding bonus hours at Sharon Creek:

🛶 Thursday, Aug. 28 | 4:30 – 7:30 PM
(Back-up date: Friday, same time, if the weather shifts)

Even better—Level 4 paddling instruction will be available at no charge, courtesy of our ORCKA coach, Colin! If you’d like coaching or are just heading out to paddle, head down to the dock for assistance.

Come enjoy an evening paddle before the sun sets—we’ll see you on the water! 💙
