Happy New Year, friends! 🥂
Wishing you all joy and peace, love and happiness, in 2025. I hope you all had a fabulous holiday and that you still have some chocolate kicking about in your stocking. If not, I'm happy to share. 🍫

We had a lovely holiday, filled with family, friends, music, cookie decorating, and Wicked. 💚🩷 Now we are gearing up to return to the world after having a couple of weeks off. We aren't ready, but also, we are.

I got very little knitting done, but I did start a shawl and some mittens, so I'll share those in a few days. In the meantime, my shop is having its annual 30% off sale. If you are looking for something special for the New Year, head on over. Lots of yarn flying off the shelves, but there's still plenty to choose from. Maybe you'll find your next cast on. Any questions? Just send me a DM. Link in bio.

Again, a very Happy New Year to you all. Wishing you all the very best! ✨

How are we all feeling about these stripes?

This is my by . It is my project for the that and I are hosting. You have two more months to enter (until January 1st) and we are drawing for a prize each month. A brand new month starts today, so share your photos and don't forget to tag us for your chance to win.

Congrats to our October winner, whose entry comes from the Cyndi Lauper concert in Toronto that I was also at. There should be extra points for that. Huge congrats, Donna. 🎉🎊

Back to my sweater: I so loved putting this palette together. It features all my favourite solids, including a nice pop right in the centre. I think I'll get a lot of wear out of this... once I finish the sleeves. Whenever that will be.🤷🏻‍♀️

I used my Griffin DK (100% Non-Superwash BFL) in the following colours: Last Goodbye, Wonder, Other Voices, Dark Harbour, Saffron, Carnation, Spruce Lee, and Piper.

Are you a fan of stripes? What am I saying? Who doesn't love stripes? 😍

Happy November 1st, friends. ✨

Just a couple of weeks away. Excited, as always, for this year's Knitters' Fair. 🤓

Vendor spotlight: The Loving Path

Debbie's dye journey started 12 years ago when she and her young son used kool-aid to dye yarn for some mittens. Now she uses professional acid dyes to produce a sophisticated palette of muted tonal yarns that flicker with life.

I'm super excited to be hosting an Open House in a couple of weekends. I apologize for the late notice, but we've had a lot of family stuff going on that really pulled my focus. But here we are and we are 11 days out. So again, I'm sorry.

Still, I'd love to see you if you can join me. I'll have lots of yarn and sock sets and minis, and some refreshing drinks to cool you off.

If you've never been before and need my address, just send me a message. Because my Open House is in my backyard, I don't like to advertise my address, so just reach out and I'll gladly share it with you.

I think that's all for now. Let me know if you have any questions... and if there's anything you'd really like to see.

I hope you are all enjoying your summer.☀️

There is a big black cloud hanging over my house... but the sun is still shining through (Slide 2). I love the contrast of dark clouds and bright light beams refracting off the edges. It gives me hope when the world feels so dark.

I'm working away on building stock for shows this spring. He's a small sampling of what I currently have, but there's lots to come. Do reach out and let me know if there's something you'd like to see - I'm happy to accommodate (if I can).

Happy Wednesday, friends (and Valentine's Day, to those who celebrate). 💕

I'm working away on Poetry Pullover by and I am loving it. I'm using Scout in the Strawberry Heather colourway. It's my favourite shade of pink and has been in my stash for a number of years - I'm so happy to be finally knitting it up. 🤓

I've knit a bit more since this photo was taken and am just about ready to separate the sleeves from the body. Despite all the chart work, this is a pretty quick knit (for a slowpoke knitter like myself).😇

Back to the yarn for a second: it's so soft and has great stitch definition. Another great thing about it is it doesn't split very easily. I try my hardest when knitting to not split the plies on yarn, but it inevitably happens to me a bit. But with this yarn? Not at all. I don't know if I'm just having a lucky week or what, but I'm choosing to credit the yarn. I'm in love with it. And again, the colour. I love me a heathered yarn and this one is just perfection. 🥰
