KEN GIRARD, LONDON HUNT CLUB HEAD PROFESSIONAL, 1972 to 1995
As happy as I was to post about the victory of Corey Connors in the Texas Open yesterday, I am saddened to report the passing of Ken Girard today. Ken was the head professional at the Summit G&CC in Toronto from 1966 to 1972 and he was the head professional at the London Hunt and Country Club from 1972 until 1995. He was a well respected professional, an excellent golfer with a fine tournament record and he had a stint with the Toronto Maple Leafs when the NHL only had six teams.
I am sure that more details will be coming forward tomorrow. A great career for Ken. Rest in Peace.
