Congratulations !!! It is a long journey that never ends…

Where did 20 years go?

This week we celebrate our 20 years in providing Self Defense training to East London Residents.

Lori and I are very humbled that this journey has continued since Jan of 2005 when we started as Bonaventure Seikido till today.

We want to thank World Seikido Grand Master Zivorad Petkovic for allowing us to share what he and the other amazing Instructors of World Seikido has shared with us over the years as well as the unwaivering support.

We are also very greatful to our past and current Ryoku Masters, Instructors and Assistant Instructors who make our school as successful as it is over this past 20 years.

It would be impossible to list everyone who has made an impact, from visiting Instructors who are always available when needed, to Senior students who jump in and assist us, to some of our junior students who take amazing leaps of courage and take over teaching a class, to our parents who always offer to assist when they see a need.

Each one of you have imprinted yourself on our success and we are where we are today because of your support and hardwork both inside the Dojo and out.

We would also like to thank the members of our current Not for Profit that we are a member of , The Canadian Alliance of Martial Arts, for their support which allows us to continue our journey in offering our services to the residents of East London.

Without your hard work of your members and dedication to your mission, it would be impossible to for us to offer our classes in the manner that we do.

Just when you think, it’s too cloudy and nobody at the beach…

When I heard my old training partner from 20+ years ago is in town and making an appearance to a class, even as broken as I am, I had to go and see him. Great to see someone you've spent a lot of time with Blood, Sweat, and Tears again. Kamsahamnida (감사합니다) - Arigatou gozaimasu (ありがとう ございます)
