While this time is scary for us all, I am so thankful for this & time to remind us all to slow down & love on our family!⁣

My silly baby girl ready for her first day of 🤣💞 I just hope she’s as excited for Day 2, lol!!!😬😳🤣 Stay safe my friends! This is a GIFT we have all been given, don’t get it twisted y’all! 🤟🏼

She’s a feeler. She wants everyone to be good and kind. She tries so hard to make those who aren’t kind to be kind.⁣

Please pray with me that I can teach her that she isn’t alone and that she doesn’t have to change the world (or the mean af classmates) by herself! (Her first year of elementary hasn’t been the greatest. It breaks my heart to know at such a young age she is taking on worrying about others, also that children so young could be so downright awful!) ⁣😔

Navigating life, no matter the age, isn’t easy, but I hope I can teach her that she isn’t alone. She has a magical place with her incredible gifts to offer the world! I pray she can be humble enough to embrace who she is and to learn and also share her gifts with us all! ⁣

There seems to be a few differences of Canadian vs American Thanksgiving: but one thing I found for certain, both holidays, are seen as an opportunity to give thanks for what’s good in our lives, celebrate nature’s bounty, and enjoy a big meal with family and friends!⁣

Today while I was lying on my back lifting weights, I looked up at the basement ceiling and I saw something I’ve never seen. A beautiful “SMILE” right there smiling at me, it’s been here the whole time obvs, yet something about today as I pushed myself with heavier weights to focus. And then BAM💥 right in my front of me, the beauty in the structure of our new house.⁣ 🏡

It’s all in your hands to see the beauty in your life. Sometimes you just need to slow down and focus on what’s right in front of you! ⁣🦄

Medical journey isn’t easy. There’s lots of time with apart, being away from each other, our family, and dear friends. ⁣😢

All throughout medical school and then training many aspects of our lives have been unpredictable. With our schedule is nonexistent sometimes because at the drop of a hat, if Jason is off, we want to be able to spend time with him all together. ⁣👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Most don’t understand the life we live right now, but we do what we have to in this stage of life. T minus 10 months and we are done with training!!! 🎉That means, our medical journey we will have 10 years of work complete, in all the chaos and fluctuations of our life to get to our dream! Here’s to 10 months y’all! 😱

We are all pretty settled here in Canada. The weather is still nice, so we will see why we think once the cold hits our Texas bones🤣. ⁣⁣

I look at these two and can’t believe they are so big, so old 😢. I love that they are getting to live in another country. I love that they get to be with Jason and me as we spread our wings to fulfill our dreams we have had for the last 20 years! (Crazy we’ve been dreaming this dream that long!).⁣

‘‘Twas the Night Before Kindergarten/1st Grade here in our new country of Canada! I can’t believe my baby will be starting 1st grade tomorrow. I’m not ready. I know she is ready & is so excited. Sleep tight my baby girl. 😢💞
