Thistle Lawn Bowling Club hosted four Thursdays of London Lawn Summer Nights fundraising bowling - expertly presented by Cass.
They raised an incredible $85,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Canada - an all time record for any location in the history of Lawn Summer Nights, in any city or town from sea to sea to sea.
Thistle LBC - one of oldest clubs in Canada, dating back to 1877 - was pleased to host them again this year.

Our lawn bowling season is over for another summer!
Once again we would like to acknowledge, and thank the
Ontario Trillium Foundation, and the Government of Ontario
for granting us the funds to keep us going in the midst of Covid.

London Lawn Summer Nights is back this summer at the club!

The last 2 years has been so tough on everyone and the Thistle had its moments too. Thanks to support from our community and from events like LSN, we were able to push through the pandemic. Thanks to everyone for their continued support and we are looking forward to seeing everyone on the greens!

‼️ATTENTION LAWN-DON‼️We’re excited to announce that London’s Lawn Summer Nights is officially back for the 2022 season! After a 2 year hiatus, Thistle Bowling Club was able to make it through the pandemic thanks to all of the support from our community. We can’t wait to get back out on the greens, raise money for and make this the best one yet! Dust off your bowling shoes and start getting your team organized because registration is right around the corner 👀

I know it doesn't seem like it now, but really, spring is on the way. Time to start thinking about how to get out, meet people, and participate in a safe, friendly sport! Lawn bowling is for you. The Thistle Lawn Bowling Club in London, ON usually starts the Wednesday after the May long weekend. However, we will be offering free instruction the week prior to that date (weather permitting). Thistle Lawn bowling Club Thistle lawn Bowling Club is nested in a park like setting in London Ontario. We have jitneys during the summer evenings and indoor carpet bowling in the winter. The hall is also available for rentals through out the year, please call 519-857-5799.

The Thistle Lawn Bowling Club is pleased to announce that we have received a Community Building Fund - Operating Stream grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Provincial Government of Ontario. This grant will help us sustain our operations in the short term and will help us to rebuild from the impacts of COVID-19.
