❶ pregnancy: didn’t prioritize workouts. Felt sluggish. Uncomfortable in my new body. Longer postpartum process to building a body I felt g o o d in.
❹ pregnancy: continue to push my strength training! Feeling my MOST sexy pregnant self 🥰 & I know the road to my strongest & most confident postpartum self will not only be easy but one I’ll e n j o y!
Over the years I’ve learned that pregnancy is an AWESOME time to work on strength!
Becoming a mother requires so much, including lifting babies/toddlers up d a i l y.
Prenatal fitness can help with:
✔️ back pain
✔️ quicker more efficient delivery
✔️ faster recovery postpartum
✔️ decreased chances of gestational diabetes & excess weight gain
✔️ fatigue & sleep disturbances & constipation
There’s NO better time than now to prioritize your strength training! 💪🏻
*N O T E: this is for all the mamas with a normal pregnancy & no complications*

Expecting Mamas: if there is anything I can teach you it’s that you are M O R E capable than you think during this journey.
Keep up with your fitness routine.
I know some days it may feel tough as hell to get going but you’re postpartum self will thank you for doing the leg work *pun intended*.
Focus on your strength, focus on your pelvic floor & core (practice that 360 breathing & bracing!) & keep a c t i v e !
Motherhood doesn’t slow you down — it does the opposite!

I’ve been thinking a lot the past few days about New Year r e s o l u t i o n s ✨ & their importance.
Do I think they’re important?
A b s o l u t e l y ✔️
But are they subject to change?
A b s o l u t e l y ✔️
Not change b/c you don’t f e e l like following through . . .
but changing because you as an individual should also be changing
t h r o u g h o u t the year!
A L L year round we should be challenging ourselves.
Making promises to ourselves & k e e p i n g those promises as we grow!
So that’s why it took so long for me to settle on my own r e s o l u t i o n s . . .
So what are mine?
Condition myself E V E R Y D A Y to be the wife, mom, coach & woman I W A N T to be
Condition myself P H Y S I C A L L Y to reach my fitness goals while staying in my current mindset. . .
A m i n d s e t that is:
✔️ k i n d to my mind & body
✔️ d i s c i p l i n e d to work on days I know I can work
✔️ d i s c i p l i n e d to rest when I know it’s time to rest
✔️ p a t i e n t with my myself & those around me
Of course there are some more specific resolutions & goals sprinkled in there & I will definitely fill you in along the way, but in general I hope to be just this:
disciplined, patient & kind.

Today Adam & I switched off with the kids & got a workout in! We gave each other a solid hour each ( b.c we e n j o y it ) !
If all you feel is 20 minutes . . . that’s perfect too! Remember you don’t have to k i l l yourself to “burn off” the calories consumed the last few days.

give yourself direction & purpose and you will feel on top of the world when you execute.
