Barista Championship
This is me (Jingbo) my 11th year of judging coffee competitions and 8th year of Head Judge in Canada’s coffee championships
At every time of the coffee competition, I have met new competitors and new judges, and as well reunion with old coffee colleagues
What’s the meaning to each of individuals in these kind of events? I cannot help thinking about it… but have no particular answers
For me, I’m happy to see new passionate coffee professionals - both competitors and judges, volunteers; happy for myself to gain new experiences; happy to see the effort been rewarded at the end; happy to see success but at the same time hope more could give credit to efforts at the end leads to “failures”
Lots of times we focused too much on the result and easy to see success but hard to see the meaning of failure..Every success or failure for a good reason, we just need to overcome some ego that we carried and see through harder a little bit, then we could find the meaning and from that moment we became a better person!
Congrats to all the individuals whom have put out efforts into this competition and wish all will stronger back next year ⭐️
