Badlands Bulls Hockey Club

After 3 wonderful seasons, we are sad to share that the Badlands Bulls will not carry into the 2026/27 season. Due to unfortunate circumstances outside of our control, we’ve had to make the very tough decision to close the door on what has been a truly uplifting and impactful experience for everyone that has been involved.

We were the little guy with big hearts and a big vision. A vision that was bigger than just hockey.

We want to thank everyone that has supported, donated, sponsored, encouraged and showed up for these kids over the last few years. None of it would have been possible without this incredible community.

Thank you to all the families that showed up this year and were excited to join the Bulls family for the upcoming season. We’re so sorry that we could not give you another season.

We wish everyone a successful and fulfilling season wherever it is you end up. If we can leave you with anything, remember to keep the fun and the joy in this game!! We encourage you to push outside the box, develop minds off the ice just as much as the skills on the ice. And most of all, live in a mindset of abundance. There is enough for us all to thrive and succeed!

This season for the Badlands Bulls was one that was truly perfect from start to finish and we wouldn’t change a single moment of it!

We had the honour of taking this club over this year from some incredible people that started the vision for the Badlands Bulls Hockey Club a few years ago. To develop a program that prioritizes development over winning. Building confident, respectful, resilient, trusting, passionate humans first, and hockey players second.

Winning is a byproduct of instilling all these values first.

As we were preparing for the season we had some pushback that this isn’t supposed to be fun. It’s supposed to be about winning.

And last night we proved that so wrong!!!

This entire season was filled with fun, joy, trust and growth and winning came along with it! Every single player knew that the value they brought to the team was equal to the value the teammate next to them brought, regardless of what the ‘stats’ say.

Stats don’t matter. People do. Especially at this age.

Even in the gold metal game, against a team that went undefeated the entire season, our coaches stuck to our values. With 3 minutes left, up by one goal, they continued to roll lines.

Every player is as valuable as the next. Development first.

We proved that by building every single player equally, by giving every single player the chance to face adversity all season long, to penalty kill, to battle in the trenches when it mattered the most, we were unstoppable!!

We had the absolute best families that trusted us with their kids this year. No one second guessed the process and there is no bigger honour than that. �
We are so excited to continue to build the Badlands Bulls Hockey Club even bigger and better next year! ��Who are we?? BULLS!!!

Couldn’t be more proud of the Foothills Yetis U9 - PHL and we wouldn’t want to share the banner with any other team!!!
