Emman was Player of the Game for pitching 5 and 1/3 scoreless innings.

And Jayden was clutch with the game-winning catch on a foul ball.

While we await our semi-final game on Championship Monday, let’s pause to thank our incredible team managers Shawna and Kyle. They were the backbone of the team, keeping everything and everyone organized.

From fundraising to scheduling, ordering gear (spoiling our kiddos like crazy!) to booking hotels and pizza parties, they’ve thought of everything. We know managing a team (and a team’s parents!) is not an easy task and that not everyone is up for the challenge. But these two made it seem effortless and we appreciate everything they went through to give these boys the best shot in the game they love.

We can’t thank you enough, Kyle and Shawna. We are so lucky to have you.

Our final round robin game ended in a 3-3 tie and Foothills chose Liam as the game’s MVP for closing the game on the mound.

The team’s Player of the Game is Nate for making the outs and laying down a great bunt moving the runner 2 bases!

Time to meet the men behind the team! First up is our Head Coach ⭐️ 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘆 ⭐️

Also known as “Mac” or “C-Mac,” this right-handed thrower bats right and his favourite position is 2nd Base. He gives himself an extra leg up before a game by scarfing down some Lucky Charms.

His favourite major league player is Omar Vizquel and he cheers for the Toronto Blue Jays in the American League and the Arizona Diamondbacks in the National League.

We took the first game 7-5 over North Regina! They chose Cage as MVP for his pitching prowess.

The team’s Player of the Game is Kam for an incredible 10 (ish haha) pitch at bat that worked a walk and started a big rally. Then he was a beast at catcher, threw out a runner at 2, and blocked everything while the game was on the line. Way to go Kam!!

And Kemp is Gamer of the Game for shaking off a tough play, batting a couple big hits for RBI’s, and closing the door on a huge W. Congrats Kemp!!
