After a busy and successful 2025–2026, the curling season at the Melville Curling Club has come to an end.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our sponsors. Your contributions help us continue to provide curling for all ages in our community.
Thank you to all of our volunteers, your time and dedication do not go unnoticed.
We had many volunteers who helped make the 2026 SaskTel Tankard and the 2026 Bunge Prairie Pinnacle at the CN Community Centre such successful events.
We also have many volunteers helping out around the club. In the kitchen and bar, making the curling ice, and with other numerous tasks big and small.
A special thank you to Bev and her kitchen staff for serving the best wings in town every Wednesday as well as all the incredible meals during our bonspiels.
Thank you to our ice maker, Carson, for providing fantastic ice all season long. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
Finally, thank you to all the curlers who travelled from near and far to participate in our leagues and bonspiels. We hope you had a great season and look forward to seeing you again next year.
See you all for the 2026–2027 curling season 🥌

UPGRADES !!!! UPGRADES
HELLLOOOOO MELVILLE AND AREA .
Once more thank you to our sponsors and volunteers for helping us during our years of operation and the times we have hosted the provincials.
With the proceeds from the provincials we are making a few major upgrades that are much needed …
We are installing new lights on the ice surface which is a little over $50,000 , we are replacing 2 heaters that are $11,000 and if you look in the pictures we have a massive leak in our brine system that needs to be repaired which consists of pulling out 20 feet of sand the entire width of the home end and splitting the lines and replacing connections to the header of our plant .This one is major and we can’t put a price on it …. Needless to say we are going to pretty much use up any proceeds from the provincial playdowns ….
Thanks also to BRIAN AND RAEYLN ISSEL FOR THE USE OF THERE LOADER TO GET THE LIFTS INTO THE BUILDING AND RH ELECTRIC FOR THIER LIFTS
