Mississauga Youth Dart League

Youth darts will be starting a little bit later as there as been some changes for this year. We will let everyone know the new changes and all updates as they become available. So there will not be any youth this week. Please continue to watch here for all updates and a new start date.

Get ready for an exciting new season! We're now accepting registrations and invite you to join our community. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, we welcome you to be a part of our team. To register, simply message us on Facebook or contact Director James Scott via email or phone. Our program is designed to foster growth, development, and a love for the game. Tykes (ages 6-12) will build foundational skills like arm positioning and throwing, while Juniors (ages 13-15) will expand their skills, learn game strategy, and develop teamwork skills. Seniors (ages 16-18) will refine their techniques, playing games like 501, 301, baseball, and cricket. Every player will have the opportunity to participate in the zone shoot and qualify for the Woda Youth Provincial Championship. We're committed to empowering the next generation of players and look forward to a phenomenal season!

My reasons are personal about this...maybe if people's heads weren't buried in the sand of ignorance and they took the time to understand, instead of judging and thinking it won't happen to them because they have the perfect family, life would be a little bit easier for people that do experience this! This hits close to home for me, for family and friends who live under this shadow. The days of 'it' not being talked about or being taboo should be over. In the most difficult moments of life you realize who your true friends are, and the people who really appreciate you. Unfortunately, most social media 'friends' aren't true friends. They will send you a "like" here and there, but in reality, they do not take time to read your status if they see it's lengthy. More than half will stop reading right here, or have already scrolled on to the next post on their page. I decided to post this message in support of all those who continue to battle with their mental illness. (Su***de is at an all-time high). Now, let's see who will have taken the time to read this lengthy post right through to the end. If you have read everything so far, please "like" it so that I can put a thank you on your page. More mental health awareness is urgently needed. Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean people aren't suffering. Please, try to spare a little of your time with someone who may just want to talk (about anything). Talking can help us all to cope a little more, keeping things bottled up just makes it worse. Most people will say, "if you need anything, don't hesitate to call me, I'll be there to help you" but will they? I believe a select few of my friends will post this, to show their support for those who may be struggling. You just have to copy and paste rather than sharing. I'd like to know who will take a minute out of their day to please write "done" in the comments. Thank you!☺️. And yes this is very important to me and my family.

Being a supporter of Veterans. I'm going to make a wager, without being pessimistic, that out of my several friends, that less than 25 will take the time to put this on their wall. You just have to copy it from my wall and paste it to yours. Then type done on my wall.
I've done this for a friend to spread Awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. We lose 22 Veterans a day. More needs to be done to help Veterans in need.

Well another dart tournament in the books. Thank you to woda and the team for running such a great event. This weekend was not one of my best darts were not there at times and then showed up sometimes when needed to the most. Well I didn’t get the outcome and results I would have like to have it was still an amazing time and great people. Time to shack it off and get ready for the next one.
