There's a running joke among all 4 that who is my favourite niece and I really don't have an answer... ❤️

I'm proud of your moms who encouraged you to speak your mind and never censor yourself to please others..

I love how you know your worth, and how you teach us - the older generation (ha.. did I just say that) - to own our power.

You teach us to not judge, not people please, not worry about others' opinion and speak up our mind.

I'm the luckiest woman to have you in my life... This world is in better hands with women like you to lead...

See the beauty that your mother sees in you, and you will never ever doubt yourself.

There's nothing more to say.
And if you think it doesn't happen in your house - think about all the houses where it still happens.
Patriarchy is still deep rooted in our subconscious - if not in the kitchen, it probably shows up in some way.

Let's not pass it on to our next generation.

The other day we were talking about our upcoming move, and my son said when we buy our house, I want a pool.
I excitedly said, yes...
But then my husband said, it is a lot of work to clean it.
My son got a bit sad.

I had to right away jump in, and I told my son we don't know what's going to happen in future, then why think of a sad future and be sad now.
Let's think of a fun amazing future and be happy. We will have a house with a pool and we will hire someone to clean it.

it's all about the perspective. You can think of all doom and gloom, or you can be think of a bright tomorrow.

What you think is what you create.
