The β˜€οΈ was on our side for this last weekend's picnic clothing swap πŸ‚

Thank you to all that came through and left with some new finds while getting to know a bit from whom their items came from πŸ™πŸ½

We were also able to gather 6 bags of clothing that was donated to where all of your pre-loved pieces will be going to good use 🌱

Thank you for all the good vibes y'all!

Until next time ✌🏽

Open to all come hang and save the date! ✨✨✨

Saturday Oct 4th from 11-1pm I'll be hosting a clothing swap and picnic on the canal by Charlevoix bridge (exact location shared in my link in bio)

Bring your pre-loved [washed] fits, some food and let's have fun.

I want to highlight it is optional to bring items to swap! Everyone should be able to leave with something all the same!

All unclaimed clothing will be donated to shelters in the city.

Thank you summer for all the gifts you've given me.

The only way we can get through all the heaviness around us is together βœ¨πŸ‚πŸŒ±

**In case of rain a new location will be announced πŸ™πŸ½

Lately ✌🏽

Been a minute since I've been on here and time to catch up!

This girl entered her 31st (ah!) revolution around the β˜€οΈ back in April and felt all the love (where are my Aries at?).

Music, creating, movement and standing in solidarity against all systems of harm are what continue to ground me and give me purpose.

Fewwwd, conversation and good company can do wonders.

Being solo and incognito is so underrated. Blending in the crowd and being a silent observer to what is going on around me is priceless. People are often too caught up in their own world, so do whatever it is you want to do or not do. Do you.

Photos from gladysb.yoga's post 05/21/2025

With everything going on in the world, community, fam and friends have always been my anchor.

This is why I'm making myself somehow useful and sharing what I know through yoga and get the chance to connect with others while also giving back.

Come one, come all classes are free but if you'd like to contribute as well you can but it isn't a requirement. All donations will go to local charities and/or non-profits (will update this post and provide transparency on which ones prior).

More details below!

Dates:

But really, you can expect vinyasa (flow, matching movement w breath), yin (passive stretching), guided meditation classes and sound therapy β˜€οΈ

Pulled directly from my piece on Substack where I quote from "Decolonize Self-Care".

I'm mindblown by the outpour of responses I'm receiving and the stories I'm being told that I can't even begin to wrap my mind around.

By writing this I hoped to bring to light some of deeply-entrenched layers of harm built into the institutions we currently lead our lives but within the context of the wellness industry I was a part of.

The capitalistic models we live by in the West continue to perpetrate neo-colonial forms of abuse, while affecting many if not all fitness and wellness practitioners, it also maintains to disproportionately affect BIPOC folks due to our lack of access or near exclusion.

Your voices continue to echo this. Thank you for lending them and having them ripple. Your stories all matter.

Montreal summer - some stillness despite it's fluctuations πŸƒβ˜€οΈπŸͺ·

01/29/2024

Raise your hand if you've peeped me at again for this winter season 🫒

I'm teaching every Wednesday for some oh-so-cozy and releasing Yin sessions at 7:30pm. Wear your loungy-est outfits and bask in all the sound bath music I love to play (not live music...yet). πŸŒ™
