Why I don’t take high dose creatine for the brain gains

TLDR

High dose creatine has been shown to increase brain creatine stores

We have a mechanistic explanations for brain benefits

People who are really familiar with the literature will tell you that we don’t have enough research to confidently say the brain gains are guaranteed

For now, I’m sticking to 5 g plus a 10 on days I’m sleep deprived

I’m cautious of the hype, you should be too…but it will be really cool if it pans out!
