This is not about learning something new.
It’s about entering into a more direct relationship with what you already know.

A Different Kind of Birthday Gift
On the edge of my birthday… somewhere between one year ending and another beginning… I gave myself a different kind of gift.
Something quieter… more intentional… a little bit magical, if I’m honest.
I stepped into a sacred journey with a small circle… supported by a little help from Mother Nature 😉… in a space designed for seeing more clearly.
I went in with intention.
I was closing out a 3-year in numerology and stepping into a 4-year… a shift that’s often associated with structure, foundations, and building. So I expected clarity around refining, organizing, creating stronger systems for what’s next.
But what I was shown wasn’t more strategy.
It was a return to truth.
An inverted pyramid, if you will.
And in that moment, I could see something I recognize not just in my own life… but everywhere.
How easy it is to build life upside down.
At the top—the widest, most expansive part—was not work, not business, not structure.
It was the body… health… vitality.
Not something to fit in… but something everything else is built on.
Below that… connection to nature… to spirit… to the inner voice that knows.
Then… relationships. Family, friends and Community. The people we walk beside and contribute to.
And just beneath that… joy. Presence. The lived experience of life—home, travel, beauty, moments that actually nourish us.
Only at the very bottom—the smallest point—sat business, systems, finances.
Not unimportant… but not foundational.
And the clarity was immediate.
When life is built in this order… everything else organizes itself.
Not because effort disappears… but because you’re no longer asking the wrong things to carry the weight of your life.
And if I’m honest… I see this inversion everywhere.
We’ve been taught to build from the outside in. To place productivity, output, and structure at the center… and then try to fit in health, connection, and presence around it.
But life doesn’t actually work that way.
What is foundational must be lived as foundational.
This wasn’t a dramatic revelation.
It was a quiet recalibration.
A remembering.
And as I step into this next cycle, what I carry forward is simple… but it changes everything:
If I place my body first…
If I stay rooted in what is real and alive…
If I tend to my relationships and actually live my life along the way…
Then what I build will be different.
Not forced. Not heavy. Not something I have to hold together.
But something that grows… from the right foundation.
Body as foundation.
Spirit as guidance.
Relationships as structure.
Joy as integration.
Business as support.

One space has just opened for this Saturday’s Soul Excursion.
If you’re someone who's willing to take advantage of this last minute opportunity, I’ll extend the early bird rate for this final spot.
This is a full day of immersion in the country to step out of your day-to-day life and look honestly at what’s happening in your work and direction… and how it’s affecting the rest of your life.
Where things are no longer working.
Where what you’ve built may not fit the same way anymore.
Where you already sense something needs to change… but haven’t fully faced it.
Most people stay in it longer than they should. Not because they don’t feel it… but because they don’t create the space to really see it.
That’s what this day is for. A small group, real conversation, and a guided process to understand:
👉 where you are
👉 what’s no longer aligned
👉 and what may be ready to shift
If you’ve been circling your next step… questioning your work, your direction, or what this next chapter looks like… this is likely your moment.

Early bird pricing for the Soul Excursion ends today.
I’ll be finalizing the group over the next couple of days, and a few spaces are still open.
If you’ve been considering joining, this is the moment to decide.
This day is designed to give you the space to step out of your routine, reflect more deeply, and reconnect with what’s shifting or emerging in your life.

Most people don’t actually give themselves the time to step back and look at their life.
They try to think things through in the middle of everything else… between meetings, in the car, or at the end of a long day when they’re already tired.
Important questions come up… but there’s no real space to stay with them.
And without that space, nothing really shifts.
What I’ve seen over the years is that clarity doesn’t come from thinking harder.
It comes from stepping out of your life long enough to actually see it.
That’s what I mean by an immersive experience.
A full day… away from your usual environment… where something begins to settle, and you can hear yourself more clearly again.
That’s the intention behind the Soul Excursion on April 18.
If you’ve been trying to figure out what's next in a part of your life or work, this kind of space changes what becomes possible.

When success no longer feels like success… what does it mean?
Many of us eventually reach a moment in life when something quietly begins to shift. The career we worked hard to build may no longer feel quite right. The roles we once embraced start to feel limiting. The definition of success we followed begins to lose some of its meaning.
Over the years, I’ve come to see that these moments are not signs that something has gone wrong. More often, they are signals that something within us is evolving.
When we step back and look at the bigger picture, a pattern begins to emerge. In early adulthood we explore, experimenting with roles and environments as we discover who we are and what we’re capable of. In midlife the questions often become more personal, as many people begin asking whether the life they constructed still reflects the person they have become. Later in life another shift unfolds, where the focus moves away from striving and toward integration, contribution, and sharing what we’ve learned.
What once felt like success may begin to feel incomplete. We often mistake this as failure, when in reality we’ve simply grown beyond who we were when we defined it.
In this article I explore that pattern and why so many people across generations are rethinking work, meaning, and contribution.
If you’ve ever felt that quiet shift yourself, you may find something here that resonates.
