The 2021 cricket season has almost come to an end with the T20 and T30 tournaments being over. The T8 league has some matches remaining scheduled to finish soon. The season started with a lot of uncertainties due to the COVID scenario. Verdun grounds were not available at the start which caused issues in the tournament schedule. However, slowly things started falling in place as the season progressed and along with the Atwater and Verdun grounds, we were able to organize matches at a new ground at Rosemont. 27 teams participated in the Division A and 11 teams in the Premiere Division. Huge number of matches were played and all the teams performed brilliantly. Thanks to all the participating teams and Congrats to all the Winning Clubs and Individual Trophy Winners. The Presentation Ceremony was also a huge success due to the presence of a huge crowd and our esteemed guests Mary Deros and Guillaume Lavoie. Their inspiring words and support will go a long way in near and far future to keep the flames of cricket burning in Montreal and Quebec. Also, huge thanks to all the people involved in organizing the league, the umpires, scorers and people taking take of the grounds-without your efforts, this would not have possible. With all of us uniting together, we will try to improve and provide an even better infrastructure and environment for playing cricket in the years to come. Thank you all!
