Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf strives to share the magic of music with the young at heart.

This spring, Playshed Theatre will create an orchestral audio drama that enhances and expands the original while preserving interest in the piece for future generations.

Comprising a full orchestra, lush sound design and dialogue-driven scenes in lieu of narration, this new telling incorporates themes like caring for the environment, compassion for others, and hope for the future.

Peter and the Wolf: A Symphonic Radio Play, adapted & directed by Olivier Lamarche. Coming Spring 2022.

PlayShed is pleased as punch to announce that they are recipients of this year's Digital Now! grant under the Canada Council for the Arts.

The Digital Now! grant is aimed at boosting and exposing Canadian artists to new audiences, thru digital platforms.
