After Marianne Lanctot in 2023, it is now Émile Mignault who (sadly) leaves the MOC Distance to compete for the McGill Varsity cross country team. Arriving at MOC in september 2023, Émile improved his 1500m time trial from 4'32 in nov. 2023 to 4'24 in february 2023. Constantly training over the winter and the summer he ran a great 16'13 at 5k La Foulée des Parcs. Finaly, Émile qualified at the McGill cross country tryouts at the end of august running 6 times the challenging 1k XC loop in around 3'05 each. Congrats Émile and enjoy your varsity experience!
