Graduation de ceintures chez BJJ SHAWI!

Salut tout le monde!

Petit rappel que mardi le 6 octobre, on va remettre des ceintures à quelques-uns de nos membres qui ont vraiment travaillé fort et qui ont bien mérité cette étape!

C’est un moment assez spécial, autant pour ceux qui vont recevoir leur ceinture que pour BJJ SHAWI. C’est une grosse étape pour notre école et une première pour nous de voir certains de nos élèves graduer sous les couleurs de BJJ SHAWI.

Ça représente beaucoup plus qu’une ceinture. C’est le résultat de tout le temps passé sur les tapis, des rounds, des défis, des journées où on avait moins envie de venir, et surtout de tous les efforts mis depuis le début.

Alors, que vous soyez un habitué ou que ça fasse un petit bout que vous n’êtes pas venus, venez nous rejoindre sur les tapis pour célébrer ça avec nous! Ça serait vraiment cool d’avoir le plus de monde possible pour encourager et féliciter nos nouveaux gradués.

C’est un moment important pour eux, mais aussi pour toute notre petite communauté BJJ SHAWI.

Belt Graduation at BJJ SHAWI

Hello everyone!

Please note that on Tuesday, October 6th, we’ll be awarding belts to some of our members who have worked hard and earned this well deserved milestone.

This is a very significant moment not only for those receiving their belts, but for BJJ SHAWI as a whole. It marks an important step in the growth of our school and the first time we’ll be celebrating students graduating through our own BJJ SHAWI ranks.

For everyone who has trained with us, supported the school, rolled with these students, encouraged them, or simply been part of our team, this is a moment we can all share in.

So, whether you’ve been coming regularly or haven’t made it to class in a while, we’d love to see you on the mats to help us honor, celebrate, and congratulate our new graduates!

Let’s make it a special evening for everyone.

Congratulations to all of our guys who competed at ADCC MTL 2026!

What an incredible event! Every one of you stepped onto those mats and poured your heart, courage, and hard work into every second. You should all be proud of yourselves!

Win or lose, we all walk away with something incredibly valuable: EXPERIENCE!

We learn what we need to improve.
We discover things about ourselves we didn’t know before.
We learn how to push through pressure, adversity, nerves, and fatigue.
We learn what our training has prepared us for and what we still need to work on.

A win gives us confidence. A loss gives us lessons. Both give us an opportunity to grow.

And when we step off those mats, we don’t walk away empty-handed. We walk away BETTER than we were before we competed.

Most importantly, we come home with that fire, the desire to get back in the gym, sharpen our weaknesses, build on our strengths, and keep chasing improvement in this sport we love.

Proud of every single one of you who had the courage to compete. Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep pushing!

The goal isn’t to be perfect. The goal is to become better every time we step on the mats.

I would like to highlight all who competed!
