We are pleased to announce that Xander Nelson off of this years 16UM GOLD GTVC team has been named 16UM Indoor Player of the Year.
Xander has been with GTVC since his 14U club year in the 2023-2024 season, and could not be more proud of him and his work.
This is the first time this award has been given to a member of our club.
We are grateful to get to work alongside Xander, and his volleyball journey!

The Golden Ticket Volleyball Club 16U Gold boys wrapped up an incredible 2026 season with a Provincial Silver Medal and a 21st-place finish at Nationals!
This group represented our club, community, and province with pride, determination, and class every step of the way. The growth these athletes showed throughout the season was remarkable, and their commitment to getting better every day paid off with an unforgettable year.
A huge thank you to our coaches, parents, athletes, officials, volunteers, and supporters who helped make this season possible. Success is never achieved alone, and this team had an incredible support system behind them.
While the medals and rankings are something to celebrate, it's the friendships, memories, lessons, and experiences that will last a lifetime.
Congratulations, 16U Gold! We couldn't be prouder of everything you accomplished this season.
