Hello POH family! Here’s an update on how things are shaping up for a reopening.
After a 13-month wait, we have been granted some answers from the health unit (unrelated to the pandemic) that will allow us to offer some of our regular programming with new COVID protocols in place.
So...with such good news, when will we reopen??
In short, it’s pretty complicated.
Finally receiving the answers to our questions is the first of MANY steps before we can safely reopen. For quite some time, we truly weren’t sure it would even be possible at all. Now that we’ve been told that we CAN, we still have many factors to consider, and more money to spend, before we can open our doors. And like many small businesses, it has been a tough fiscal year.
Rest assured, we FULLY intend on reopening as soon as we are able to. It is certainly not a lack of desire to restart our programs! There is so much happening behind closed doors and we will continue to do everything we can to reopen as soon as possible.
We understand the value of what we offer to our surrounding communities and we have never lost sight that your support IS our success.
WE MISS YOU! And truly appreciate your patience through these trying times.
With love and gratitude,
The Mitchells

*UPDATE: we will remain CLOSED until non-essential businesses are able to reopen *

In light of the latest recommendations for social distancing and the exponential increase in confirmed cases of COVID-19, we’ve made the difficult decision to close the pool, effective immediately, until April 4th, at which point we will reassess.
While we were hoping to offer the option to families and participants in the coming weeks, this unique situation calls for us to do our part.
If you would like to be kept up-to-date with information regarding our spring session, please *email* your request to [email protected]
*if you already receive our emails, you will continue to receive them - no need to request 🙂
