Unfortunately we fell short to continue on with playoffs in the NBMBL 2025 season!! Great season with a lot of fun times and life lessons. Well done Panther’s!!

U18A Panther’s With Tough Game Against Gateway

U18A Panther’s couldn't keep up with Gateway and fell 15-6 on Friday at Veteran’s Field .

U18A Panther’s opened the scoring in the first after King Mong grounded out, scoring one run.

Gateway made the score 3-1 in the bottom of the first after a steal of home scored two runs, and Tyler Besner grounded out, scoring one run.

Gateway extended their early lead with three runs in the bottom of the second thanks to RBI singles by Tyrus and Brad Berube.

Gateway added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Carson Gaudette singled to center field, Tyrus tripled down the right field line, and Mat Blanchfield doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Gateway scored six runs on three hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Luc Gingras singled, scoring one run, Gaudette lined out, scoring one run, Tyrus tripled, scoring two runs, and Berube singled, scoring two runs.

Robby Baas started the game for U18A Panther’s. The pitcher gave up 10 hits and 15 runs (12 earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking six. Berube started on the hill for Gateway. The starting pitcher surrendered 10 hits and six runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking three.

U18A Panther’s accumulated 10 hits in the game. Evan Chemery and Gavin Dewar each collected two hits for U18A Panther’s. Lincoln Thomson, Mong, Oskar Larose, and Ben Ostojic each drove in one run for U18A Panther’s. Dewar stole two bases. U18A Panther’s ran wild on the base paths, amassing eight stolen bases for the game.

U18A Panther’s Defeated By Gateway

U18A Panther’s could not keep up with Gateway 6-2 on Wednesday at Veteran’s Field .

U18A Panther’s got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Ben Ostojic singled, and King Mong stole home, each scoring one run.

Gateway tied the game in the top of the third thanks to a tag up by Moose, and a wild pitch.

Mong started on the mound for U18A Panther’s. The starting pitcher surrendered nine hits and six runs over five innings, striking out five and walking eight. Jayden Booy stepped on the hill first for Gateway. The pitcher gave up two hits and two runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out eight and walking nine.

Liam Schraa and Ostojic each collected one hit for U18A Panther’s. U18A Panther’s had a strong eye at the plate, collecting nine walks for the game. Mong and Oskar Larose led the team with two free passes each. Ostojic stole three bases. U18A Panther’s ran wild on the base paths, piling up nine stolen bases for the game. U18A Panther’s turned one double play in the game.

U18A Panther’s will travel to Gateway for their next game this Friday!!
