What a magical evening — we’re so excited for an incredible season ahead!

🏅✨ Seventh Wave had an amazing weekend at the Penticton Dragonboat Festival! ✨🏅

We’re bringing home a silver medal in the Diamond Division 💎🥈 AND the Spirit Award 🎉💜—a true testament to our teamwork, energy, and love of the sport.

We also had the joy of initiating two new teammates into the crew (welcome aboard!), and celebrating a milestone teammate birthday. We
couldn’t have done it without our fantastic supporters, expert steer and coach. 🙌🐉.

Even with smoky skies and a shortened course, the festival spirit was strong, and so was our paddling power. 🚣‍♀️💨

So proud of this team and grateful for another unforgettable regatta! 💙🐉

We paddle 2x a week, April–Sept — and we’re always looking for water-loving women to join the fun. 🌊

Hey everyone - please remember to be prepared if you are using any type of watercraft. This includes SUPs in the Cove!

At the beginning of our practice on Saturday, we successfully rescued two people who had flipped their paddle board and didn’t know what to do. Surprisingly, they didn’t have life jackets/pfd’s and were clearly not comfortable in the water. We were able to paddle the dragonboat to them (thank you to our excellent steers person!), throw them a couple of life jackets, pull them into the boat, pluck their items out of the water, tie up their boat and get them back to shore.

Everyone in the boat remained calm and worked together to get them back safely. And then we carried on with a shortened, but excellent practice. Great job everyone!

Seventh Wave placed in the Grand Final, racing against the top women’s teams 😬 No medal here but we are happy with our placement! As always, we feel like winners with our very special team of women who share friendship, fun, laughter, excitement and fitness!

It's that time of year again! Sales are now open for our annual blueberry sale team fundraiser. Dont miss the opportunity to order delicious farm to table berries at a great price. The funds we raise support Seventh Wave in our training and various regattas.

Here’s what you need to know:
- Beautiful farm to table blueberries that are locally grown by Blueberry Junction in Abbotsford
- Berries come in 10 lb flats, but you can arrange to share with someone if you wish
- Price: $4.00 per pound; so that converts $40 per 10lb flat – a GREAT price for farm fresh berries!
- Pick up in North Vancouver estimated mid July - to be determined by weather. We expect to have more than one delivery date, so the berries will be fresh.

Deadline for orders is Sunday, June 29!
