January is the Charlie Fund month at the Oakville & Milton Humane Society (OMHS). The Charlie Fund provides emergency and specialized veterinary care for animals at OMHS. The Charlie Fund saves animals hit by cars, caught in traps, or needing life-changing treatments and surgeries.
Marley is one of the many animals helped by the Charlie Fund. Marley arrived in our care with a broken leg. Unfortunately, the leg could not be saved. Surgery was performed to remove her leg, and she is recovering in a foster home until she is ready to be adopted. This young good-natured dog can look forward to a healthy future. Donate today to the Charlie Fund to help other animals like Marley. omhs.ca/charliefund

Because of you, thousands of animals will be helped in the coming year.

Mia is a sweet senior kitty looking for a quiet place to retire. Mia was surrendered by her owners because they were moving and unable to take her with them. She is very sweet and affectionate, once she gets to know you.
Mia would prefer a home without other animals as she is not a fan of other cats and dogs. Even though she is 13-years-old she loves to play. You can read more about her on our website: https://omhs.ca/adopt/adopt-a-cat/
