Single Leg Strength is the key to almost every sport as almost all are played on 1 leg.
You skate 1 leg at a time. You sprint 1 leg at a time.
Here’s , a great Track athlete performing a Single Leg Squat with amazing control and range of motion.
Those videos you see of athletes Back Squatting massive weight through partial ranges of motion….can’t do this at all.
Train to be athletic. Full range of motion. Balance, stability, mobility, single leg strength, core stability.
What a great Bang for your Buck exercise.
