Big Improvements Here!

Here we see what it means to hit and bounce off the ground. Staying light on our feet and tall at the hips.

Post Surgery - Pec Tear - Rehab | Mobilization Phase

This is the first active movement that the shoulder will produce after surgery. The goal here is to regain mobility slowly and safely so that we can begin to load the muscles and strengthen them in a couple weeks.

Most athletes think that once their injury heals and they can squat, lunge, or run again, they’re ready to return to sport—but that’s not true. Strength alone isn’t what keeps you safe or makes you perform better. Sport happens at high speeds, under pressure, in unpredictable environments. You have to absorb force, change direction, and stabilize your joints in milliseconds.
That’s why learning to control your body under load and speed is crucial. Without it, the body might look strong in the gym, but it collapses under real game demands. That’s where discomfort and reinjury happen—not because the joint is damaged, but because the neuromuscular system isn’t prepared.
Skill only improves when the body can support the forces required to perform it. If you can’t stabilize the knee, hip, or trunk quickly, you can’t cut, sprint, jump, or shoot properly. You don’t build skill on dysfunction—you build it on control.
So whether you’re a soccer player, basketball player, or any athlete returning from injury, the real goal isn’t just getting your strength back—it’s learning to express that strength safely at game speed. That’s what unlocks performance and keeps you on the field.

Test and see where you are before starting a new program. Use this to build a program with the necessary and avoid as many set-backs as possible.

Addressing patellar tendinopathy typically includes a plan that gradually rebuilds your knee’s tolerance to deep-flexion load by starting with pain-reducing isometrics, then progressing into controlled quad strengthening and deeper squat ranges without aggravation. As your symptoms decrease, the program reintroduces heavier squatting and energy-storage plyometrics to restore full tendon and patellofemoral capacity. You safely return to heavy barbell squats and maximal landings with improved strength, stability, and resilience.

Strength training to supplement your sport

Shoulder performance depends on the relationship between stability and mobility.

Three key concepts: first, stability must come before mobility; second, the scapula–ribcage and scapula–humerus interactions are essential for controlled movement; and third, spinal alignment directly affects how the shoulder functions.

Altogether, this teaches athletes and staff how to move safely and powerfully by maintaining proper structure and control through the upper body.
