We love to see the connections grow between youth and their exchange ‘twin’! In March 2025, the Oakville Hornets U15 girls' hockey team hosted the Rankin Rock girl's hockey players in exchange for a week in the GTA. At the end of April 2025, it was time for the Rankin Rock team to host their Southern friends for a week up North. All 16 girls’ hockey players on the Oakville team were gifted individual handmade parkas for the second half of the reciprocal Youth Exchange that brought them to Rankin Inlet, Nunavut! 🫂 Oakville Hornets Northern Exchange 2025

Nous aimons voir les liens se tisser entre les jeunes et leurs « jumeaux » d'échange !️ En mars 2025, l'équipe de hockey féminin Oakville Hornets U15 a accueilli les joueuses de hockey féminin de Rankin Rock pour un échange d'une semaine dans la région du Grand Toronto. À la fin du mois d'avril 2025, il était temps pour l'équipe de Rankin Rock d'accueillir ses amis du Sud pour une semaine dans le Nord. Les 16 joueuses de hockey de l'équipe d'Oakville ont reçu des parkas individuelles faites à la main pour la deuxième moitié de l'échange réciproque de jeunes qui les a amenées à Rankin Inlet, au Nunavut ! 🫂 Oakville Hornets Northern Exchange 2025

Today was sports day at the Agnico Eagle arena. Session led by Rankin Inlet Royals and their coaches Holly and Robert. Thank you, RIR! Volleyball followed by a blizzard that shut everything down in the hamlet…

A day on the land and water north of Rankin. We made our way out in a convoy of snowmobiles with Kamatiks and even a bombardier. There was ice fishing interspersed with sledding and kite flying.
