The Onanole Fun Timers Hockey League (OFTHL) is a recreational, non-contact hockey league built on fun, friendship, and pure Prairie winter spirit. Inspired by the wildlife and landscapes around Riding Mountain, the league celebrates community as much as the game itself.

Whether you’re lacing up for the first time in years or you live on the ice every winter, the Fun Timers offer a welcoming, inclusive space for players of all levels. It’s hockey without ego — just good times, great people, and the joy of being out on the ice together.

Player Code of Conduct
1. Play for Fun - The league exists for enjoyment first.Celebrate great plays — yours or someone else’s.

2. Inclusion Comes First - All players are welcome, regardless of age, skill, gender, or experience. Support, encourage, and lift each other up. We leave ego at the door.

3. Non-Contact, Respectful Hockey - No body-checking, fighting, or aggressive behavior. Keep sticks, elbows, and tempers down. Respect all officials, volunteers, and teammates.

4. Safety Above All - Wear appropriate equipment. Stop play for injuries. No alcohol or substance impairment on the ice.

5. Be a Good Teammate - Communicate with captains if you can’t attend. Show sportsmanship at all times — to your team and the opposition. Welcome new players and help them feel comfortable.

6. Protect the Spirit of the League
This league exists for community, connection, and recreation.

Any behavior that harms the atmosphere — discrimination, bullying, hostility — will lead to removal from games or the league.
