Mel Judges is the current president and player for the Ottawa Irish Rugby Club. Currently, she trains at Lift Zone in preparation for her fourth season playing for Team Ontario. Mel has won two national championships with team Ontario, an OUA championship with Queen’s University and a CIS bronze medal back. Mel also played one season with the Carleton Ravens and has shifted to an assistant coaching role with the team. This past season, the Ravens had their most successful season in program history.
Mel works as a Change Management Business Analyst for the Federal Government after completing her MBA back in 2016. She aspires to become an executive in the government in the near future, where she can make an impact on a national scale. Mel is also extremely excited to see the future success of the talented Ravens Rugby program over the next year.
Mel adores the Ottawa Irish and is thrilled to be affiliated with such a phenomenal club.
